Grimoire as Netflix series'
If there is a move to taking the grimoire out of the game and trying to tell the stories in game, would there ever be a consideration of working with something like Netflix or Hulu to do exclusive series' with either live action or animations of history, side characters, legendary fireteams, etc that the game cannot fit into the main storyline? With apps on consoles being so interconnected, there could be a "library" in game somewhere where guardians could click on a link or icon and then be brought into Netflix and watch that episode...I'd watch the hell out of that! Imagine unlocking Netflix exclusive content after finishing a story mission, strike, raid?

1 Replyhow much i would love this, its never going to happen this would take to much to make. Take the amount of money they ask us for dlc in mind and add festival of the cash to that and all the apologies about "lack of content" stories because the team was split in a d1 and d2 team and what we actually got ingame, you would understand that as destiny is now this is never going to happen. Halo got a series after like 5/6 games and years and years of marketing and brand recognition and a god like status. Also if they dont have enough resources for a decent stream of dlc and extra ingame activities, how would you think they could make like ?10? episodes of about 20/25 minutes, you would probably have to pay 60 for a "destiny the complete story" series. Sorry for popping the bubble but the bungie at the moment just can make this as they are. But again the idea is great i do agree this would be very nice and cool. The background stories about the raids and strikes and everything actually are really complex and deep but except for the grimoire and equipment flavor texts (nobody reads them but armor and weapon texts contain a lot of bakcground story) are completely unused :(.
