I knew before Destiny released that it was the type of game I could get into, basically an FPS with RPG elements. Yet after playing the game quite a bit for the first couple months it turned into more of a second job then an enjoyable experience. I was able to cut ties with Destiny once the Taken King came out because the Devs made choices that I didn't agree with and this was when I had realized I wasn't having fun anymore.
Yet I have always tried to stay in touch with the game because I really love the idea of an RPG/Shooter game and hoped that Bungie would learn from the mistakes they made with Destiny and apply them to its sequel. So far with what I've seen of Destiny 2 they haven't impressed me. Yet I found an article last night that intrigued me.

Of course like most video game articles they never explain the details of how they are going to achieve making the game less of a job. But I hope they really do accomplish this, it will help people who don't always have free time to play the game every week yet still have the gear to be relevant in activities to play with friends.
