Bungie, just get rid of pvp and no one will care about the servers.
Pvp has been the bane of this games existence. Nerf this buff that and people crying for dedicated servers. Just get rid of it and use the space it took up to create more pve content. If you want pvp then go play cod or battlefield.

The problem that I had with destiny 1 PVP was literally all the nerfs and the insistent need for this thing called balance. I say F that noise, let people go nuts, it should be utter chaos and absolutely fun. Leave the buffing/nerfing for the try hard game modes like Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner, and make those weapons and armor exclusive to that mode so any tweaking doesn't affect the rest of the game.

Pve has been the bane of this games existence. Must have Gjallerhorn, Spindle, Sleeper, Dark Drinker etc. because I can't kill a mindless AI. Just get rid of it and use the space it took up to create more pvp content. If you want pve then go play Wildlands. See how idiotic it sounds?

Also to note, this is (thankfully) not Halo. We're coming up on year 4, that horse is dead, quit beating it. "Just balance it". That translates back into having fewer more boring weapons and getting rid of supers. He'll, grenades don't even one hit in the new game. How pathetic of a gamer do you have to be to bitch about -blam!-ing grenades? Seriously, do you wear a helmet everywhere you go? Most nerfs to the strongest, rarest weapons were caused by pvp players whining. I'd love to see another primary weapon that was hard to get that one or two shot in pvp. "Pvp kept the game alive". Factually untrue. All it did was garner popularity and money from streamers. Destiny tracker has constantly shown more pve players daily, even during content droughts.

3 RepliesYeah, we've never failed on a raid because of lag. I think the bigger concern is the fact that primaries are getting shoved down our throat. I like primaries, but PVE content is fun when you have a group that knows how to mix and use all types of weapons and abilities. (special/heavy/grenades/supers/etc.) From the steams that I've seen PVE was way too much primary focus.

2 RepliesI can't think of one pve game I sank more than 200 hours of game time into much less than the 1700+ hours (pvp mainly) time I have in Destiny. Leave the PvE only games for the casuals.

4 RepliesPvP is lasting content. PvE is play then forget content. This game wouldn't have nearly as much of a dedicated player base without PvP. Even with great consistent pve content updates and gameplay the game wouldn't make it more than 3 years with the player base it currently has. I'd honestly be more for getting rid of pve.

We are okay with the pvp in this game and we hope that the pvp players continue to support the pve players. 3 RepliesJohnny, The just did that. PvP is going to be sweaty as hell now, which means far fewer people are going to be playing. Trials was not for everyone so they went ahead and made everything competition based. Now, every game type is trials like. This means far fewer people will enjoy and and far fewer people will play it. So, D2 will PvP will be for the competitive crowd and PVE will be for the rest of us. For this reason, I got my money back on the game. No sense giving Bungie my money.

Ummm I say no. I tend to think of myself as more of a PvE player but I still think PvP will still be interesting. 4v4 is just going to get people so they can actually communicate during games(as long as they actually use their mics). Which I always was a little salty about in PvP. Nobody would ever use their mics(everybody had a mic that came with the PS4) in PvP and you had to change the setting to put yourself into team chat. I'm pretty sure the amount of PvE content they've added to Patrol is going to keep me busy for a good amount of time

2 RepliesDestiny PvP is waaaay more fun than CoD, Battlefield, or even Overwatch imo. The fact that I can play the same character and same class, build, weapons, etc...both against the "darkness" and in testing my skills against other guardians is a HUGE appeal for me with Destiny. If they took away PvP I would probably just rush through the campaign in Destiny and then walk away for good. I don't care much for first person shooters anyway. Destiny is unique and that's why I play and enjoy every part of it.
