Outbreak Prime: Pain in the ass or worth it?!
In my opinion, the Sleeper Simulant quest was just the right amount of pain in the ass. I think the outbreak prime quest takes it too far, do you agree or disagree?

It wasn't too bad, IMO. Although I rarely use it. ToM was a pain in the ass and that never gets used. Such a disappointing weapon.

The only quest that was truly hard was the year 1 thorn quest on a hunter, the outbreak prime has websites dedicated to making it simple

The quest takes about an hour.

I completed the Outbreak Prime quest on all three characters. Hell, I even completed the Touch of Malice on two characters. I completed the Sleeper Simulant quest once and never again.

The weapon wasn't worth the long quest. I deleted it rather quickly

1 ReplyI got almost all my friends outbreak prime quests done all in one day from start to finish. Including both necessary raid runs. The sleeper simulant may be less demanding but the issue with that which makes it harder imo is that the quest litterally reduces the ammount of warsats you experience. If you dont run a 3 person patrol team chances are you wont get a warsat for days. Some people claim they got their mars warsat the second they touched down but those are rare to hear and most lie or ignore admitting they landed with a group.

There's a ton of good guides out there. The gun is worth the trouble.

Edited by kellygreen45: 5/26/2017 4:04:40 PMThe quest is overly complicated and a royal PITA (mainly because of the need to hve one of each character class). The quest for Sleeper Simulant was fun. The one for Outbreak Prime wasn't. But the weapon is WORTH It.

Outbreak is a fun quest that doesn't take much effort really. Sleeper, if anything, was boring. Do some public events then an okay strike. Lame.

I personally think it it, in my opinion the outbreak prime is the most balanced raid exotic we've ever had mainly because it a: has a advantage when inside wrath of the machine/any fallen activity b: performs well enough against non fallen and c:is ok in the crucible but not silly strong like the original mythoclast was, also i think bungie making its quest a pain was in response to the community thinking sleepers quest was too easy back in taken king
