With Sidearms becoming "Primaries" in D2
Will they retain their lethality? As it stands, sidearms can pretty much destroy hand cannons in most situations. Will sidearms have their range or DPS reduced in D2, or will we be in the same spot as we are now?

Well I mean they have been primaries for the past few months for some people so I was g really surprised they made them a actual primary

Lol people laugh at me when I said sidearms were going too be primaries. TTK maybe different but I was still right ):)

My guess would be yes. Probably y they put them as primaries in d2

3 RepliesNow people can run around with 2 sidearms. One kinetic and one elemental. Same goes for hand cannons

4 RepliesNo - you can tell by watching gameplay footage in the crucible. It's hard to tell if they've been nerfed, or if it's just because of the longer general TTK, but they look to be nowhere near as deadly as they are in D1. Same with SMGs (I'm not actually sure why both of these weapon archetypes are in the game simultaneously - they seem to fill exactly the same purpose/style).

Looks like they have had fall off adjusted so that they do less damage at a distance

9 RepliesFrom what I looked like, their lethality has been reduced significantly, which is a good thing. They aren't really any more beneficial than using other primaries.
