Do dedicated servers and fps make or break a game?
So with this being the most complained about concern from bungies gameplay reveal, what's the communities verdict on it?
Truthfully I'm disappointed that they aren't investing in dedicated servers, but I still know something great can come out of destiny 2. I'm not dismissing it off of that fact.

I can get over the 30fps, plenty of amazing games run at that level. However, after the difficulties that Destiny 1 has had with its multiplayer regarding connection, I am honestly very disappointed that there won't be dedicated servers.

The only issue for me is whether they had Dedicated Host Servers for D2, which they finally answered in an Interview. https://www.pcgamesn.com/destiny-2/destiny-2-dedicated-servers I am not putting up with Peer to Peer One Console As Host for another 3 years. Not just for Crucible, (where they have Host Advantage and as host can harvest your IP address for IP exploits) but for Strikes, Raids and any shared activities. The game will be released in 2017.75 and they are esentially still using Halo era Peer to Peer One Console is Host Networking from 10+ years ago.

If the game is good, fps doesn't bother me. Dedicated servers are great, but not a requirement. As long as you can have fun, it doesn't matter. And I have some... interesting moments with P2P right now. [spoiler]The luckiest seven you will ever meet[/spoiler]

We should of gotten dedicated servers at least. I could careless about fps, but there is a huge noticeable difference when playing an online game with dedicated servers vs p2p connection. Bungie is a bunch of cheap twats.

It's still going to be fun! I imagine most of these people complaining to be the same people who get invited to do something, chose not to participate, and then want people to feel bad for them. 😂👌 seems legit.
