Destiny 1 had very little clan support at launch, but eventually we got where we are, and it's ok. My issue is that being in a clan has no rep status. There's no real reason to be in a clan other than if you end up meeting some people and actually enjoy the pleasure of their online company, or if you just want to have a clan for the sake of having one. IMO... In Destiny 2 there needs to be increased focus on clans. Clan based activities which can be completed by anyone, but reward full clans with exclusive rewards for completing the activity with only clan members. More trophies for clan activities (we had 2 in vanilla Destiny). Pvp events focused around clans and ranking, etc. There are many places to go with this and ideas out there, im sure.
