Ill start this off by saying that i only started playing this game around last December so im not aware of any additions to the pvp playlist since year one's vanilla destiny. Now with that being said, i am very surprised that there isnt more variety in the playlists since some concepts of new additions seem [b] incredibly obvious[/b]. [u]FOR EXAMPLE[/u] -No supers -No abilities -No heavy ammo -No special ammo -Only heavy -Only special -No ammo drops and no primary ammo to begin with -Class specific playlists (only titans, only hunters, only warlocks) -Subclass specific playlists (only void, only solar, only arc) -Class AND Subclass specific playlists (just to name a few: only defender, only arcblade, only sunsingers) -Only snipers -Only rockets -Only sidearms -Only fusions -Only etc..... -No exotic armor -No exotic weapons -No exotics at all -Ability to equip as many exotics as wanted [u]And a few ideas i had while typing this[/u] -Random weapon loadouts ( changing every life OR every match) playlist specific exotic weapons or abilities or supers (like a gun that is only usable in that specific playlist or lets say a titan thats able to use shadestep/blink or a brand new playlist specific super?) -Relics spawn on map at random times ( the sword/aegis/siva bombs (not sure if those would count as relics)) -limited movement ( no jumping, sprinting, sliding, shade stepping, blinking, twilight garrison-ing?) -no regenerating health -respawn with oversheild -enemies spawn on the map during match (fallen, hive etc...) -limited map cycles (or just only one map) Please dont misunderstand this post as a complaint of some-kind, I'm just surprised that there isn't more variety since bungie and activision have both released games with a fairly expansive amount of pvp playlist options. Its odd to me that Destiny is pretty "bare minimum" when it come to that at least in my opinion. Again.. NOT a complaint. Just a thought.
