My favorite is the Dreadnaught because of the Hive Architecture and the insane amount of loot opportunities (chests that require keys).

Venus, the Moon and Cosmodrome. Cosmodrome because its closer to home
-
I love Venus for its golden age intellectualist-style architecture, as well as the landscape itself being lush and green; but my most favorite aspect is the calming rain. The constant rainfall super-saturating the planet as I slowly walk through the seemingly infinite marshes. The drops of rain beading of my visor as volcanoes erupt in the distance... all this while Halo 3 ODST soundtrack plays in the background - simply beautiful.

I believe the Cosmodrome is best for a renewable supply of Legendary Marks from Fallen Walkers and other activities. It is also easy to navigate, whilst having many secrets for one to find.
-
Venus It is such a diverse landscape. Between the natural formations (caves and rocky cliffsides), Vex architecture, Ishtar Collective, and a Fallen Ketch, there is just soooo much to see on Venus. It's no coincidence that it also houses three of my five favorite Crucible maps, three of my five favorite Missions, two of my three favorite Strikes, and my favorite raid.

The archon's forge!

I like Venus from my warlock perspective. The vex ruins cast an image of mystery and unknown power while the Academy cast a sort of vast knowledge vibe. For the "post apocalyptic" vibe, I go to the cosmodrome. The apocalypse aspect to me just doesn't come out as much as bungie marketed it. The world feels to alive yet doesn't feel full. It feels like an area with enemies. If we could investigate these places and there were less enemies, that vibe would come out. But it just doesn't for me. We have massive alien warships, alien military bunkers, and alien dens in caves. When you play through all these spaces, the PA effect just doesn't come out. The fallen hurt this the most. We go through these spaces but the fallen ruin it with their computers and spikes and what ever else. It just doesn't feel abandoned and forgotten. Perhaps another reason for this would be the fact that old Russia isn't recognizable. If it was someplace in America, or someplace that most people knew, that PA feeling would come out more. But it just doesn't come out. If we could deeply explore this world like going through active computers, opening doors that were closed for hundreds of years, going through old documents and security cameras to see what the golden age would have been like, and finding secrets that aren't in random -blam!-ing caves. The cosmodrome just doesn't feel like an apocalypse happened, just like people took everything and left.

I also like to watch the enemies fight it out in grand battles and skirmishes like on the opening areas in the dreadnaught and mars.
-
For rep? Plaguelands. For beauty? Well...all of them I guess. For nostalgia? Cosmodrome.
-
9/10 Dentists do not recommend going to the plaquelands
-
This really shouldn't be in lore but ok
-
Cosmodrome is where it all started yo.......
-
I really like the area where urzok spawns. Warsat and taken and sometimes Enemy moving against each other. Lots of mayhem. I think it the rocketyards?
-
Venus. I love going back into Campus Nine and The Endless Steps
-
Venus has the best scenery, and Plaguelands has Archon's Forge.
-
Probly venus by the ember caves, and then the (insert name here) where theres 3 minotaur majors
-
The divide. Plenty of double exotic drop opportunities.
-
Wow! I am surprised a lot of people picked Cosmodrome. Honestly, I think it is the most boring out of all of the maps.
-
While I do like a certain location, patrol has burnt itself out. It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I like Venus. The look of the area, the Ishtar Academy.
-
Skywatch with 3 public events
-
I hate the dreadnought because sparrows are disabled. Plaguelands is my favorite because you can get rep & gear faster than any other location.
-
Venus. I love helping vault of glass runners.
-
Everywhere in vanilla Destiny.
-
By far best patrol quick runs goes to cosmodrome. Usually a kill captain and or kill enemy in first area. Go right kill the captain in back room( near beginning of story). Run back out usually kill enemies and or kill captain. Go to orbit, repeat. Takes a lil over 5 mins to do 2-4 patrols. Plus taken usually appear in second area once u do first captain kill. Works everytime.

Edited by LadiesMan217164: 4/21/2017 4:50:36 PMI love Venus for its looks/areas (the ketch, citadel, vault and Ishtar). House Winter is best house and who doesn't like the vex? It's the only planet which I can still remember my material farm and helping raid teams at the vault opening was always fun. But the moon is my gun range, whenever I get a new gun whether it be from the gunsmith or a random drop I take it for a 30-40 minute test. I hardly patrol Venus anymore but I still go to the moon, so there's just something about the moon that keeps me coming back.

Drednaught because of all the hidden stuff

The dreadnaught, because I've helped one of my good friends there a lot with quests and I really enjoy court of Oryx
