"Is it possible to apply those nerf proof aspects to the rest of our gear and abilities?" Sure would like to find that magical key. I'd hate to see swords get nerfed. Maybe give machine guns more ammo, add a few rockets or increase shotgun ammo (mainly for PvE). Swords are the "get you out of jail" last resort when you get overrun by enemies or a yellow shielded foe. Shotguns were that weapon, before swords showed up and shotguns lost ammo along with nerfs. It would be nice if other guns were buffed to match better weapons instead of nerfs to balance things. Doesn't seem to work that way though.
