I'm asking that anyone, like myself, who has spent countless hours working on their acquisition of hard earned weapons to chime in here to let bungie know how we feel. If you don't feel the same, please feel free to read a different post. While I understand there is a desire by some to start with a clean slate, I also know there are people that would like to retain at least some of what they have earned over the years. I'm not sure why it's so important to retain character personalization that took most of us 5-10 minutes to setup vs. countless hours of raids, nightfall, farming, etc to acquire just the right weapons we love to use. I don't even care if they get stripped of upgrades. I'm also sure there will be better weapons to earn. The point is, I would like to see the ability to port some of the weapons, if not all, to destiny 2. Even if you offer a pay for transfer, or earned transfers, of maybe 10 weapons or 10 weapons and 10 pieces of gear. I would work on a quest (or two) to earn the right to transfer. I would also pay a nominal fee for the capability. Anyone agree with the idea or something like it?
