My raid team leader had his schedule changed.....now he doesn't get home until 1am EST. I got on Destiny around 6:30pm PST. When he used to get home at 11:30pm EST, we'd get our raid team together. In his absence, everyone I knew had already joined raid teams.
I did get invited late by a buddy to a bridge checkpoint. But people got confused at Deathsinger, and then people bailed after a few runs.
Oh well. Someone has to keep the free world safe.....

Wow. It's called LFG, champ. I've never had a steady raid crew. Ever.

I got my shift changed from 2 pm- 10 pm to -blam!-ing 6 am- 2 pm. At least I can sort of raid more now but can't stay up late anymore, all my raid buddies did the same bro, but lfg has always found a way like today lol
-
Yea it sucks my buddies asked me to do it then ignored me for 6 hours when I got home as they ran it with all there characters with other random people. I help save children from cancer which is a much better feeling then listening to a bunch of dudes getting mad at each other for not doing the 3 year old mechanics right. Keep protecting the free world it's better for us all.

4 of the guys on my raid team work full time. We just wait til they get home from work. It does help that we've been doing the raids together for a long time. We are like clockwork now.
-
I'd rather have the full time job because I can always find a raid group. Finding a good full time job is a little different...
-
Just for perspective, I have an illness that prevents me from holding a full time job (let alone a job at all). I would give up everything if it meant my health would return to normal. I'm grateful for this game existing as it helps me escape this world for a little while each day, but it's hard to survive and play when you can't make the money to do so. In the end, this is just a game and don't shy away from the "real-life" responsibilities you will have to face. It's not worth it.
-
I feel ya. 12 hour nights with 1 day off a week, it's kind of frustrating trying to find a raid group at 2 AM when you're actually awake and functioning.
-
Yeah having a family and a full time job definitely get in the way of this type of game. Sometimes I question even bothering with it at all and sticking to more casual games.
-
Bump :'(
-
Yep. I've been working 50+ hrs a week. Then family time. I've only been able to play an hour at most a day through week. So I had to wait until last night to try raid. By then the couple of friends I have left that still play this game had already done it and didn't want to run again.
-
Bump And my new house doesnt have internet for another 2 weeks
-
You know what sucks even more? Having waited to do the raid until today, and the goddamn telephone line company decides to mess with the cables, so no internet.
-
-
I feel ya. But at least you have a raid team. Mine all quite Destiny a month after ROI. Using LFG sucks.
-
who needs sleep am I right!?
-
I run 3 businesses and still have time to play a few hours every day
-
Bump. One part time job and one partnership in a business. Hard to find time to play, but definitely enjoy the times that I can.
-
I feel your pain, I come back home once in every two weeks and it sucks that I cant do raids or anything til next week:(
-
Bump!!!
-
Ha yes. I was on work trip all week. Just got home today and turned around and left for weekend trip With fam. Home Sunday night. Excited to run Crota Sunday Night. Word is he'll still be here ha!
-
I work 55 hours a week and i finished crota challenge twice this week. The first time we carried 2 rise of iron guys through it. The second tone i found a lfg group on xb1 who couldn't beat crota. Needless to say it took us 3 runs and we beat him i was on my warlock which I've never raided with. I ran sword we messed crota up. If you need help hit me up gamertag is stained briefs.
-
Yeah... not a very good excuse... i work 50 hours a week and have managed to complete the challenges 4 times now
-
I work a full time job, finished crota challenge twice already.
-
I have a full-time job, a daughter & GF to take care of. I joined two groups recently, I'm this close to participate in a raid, time management!
-
Yeah I work nights. I hope either my clan raids on Sunday or I can find a raid.
