Leave Necrochasm alone!
Dear Bungie,
I am very grateful for the return of Necrochasm and I will be also grateful for the Vex mythoclast returning back from year one. However, what ever you do don't grant the Necrochasm any nerfs it is perfectly fine the way it is. If any complaints arise about the Necrochasm, just be like "Just man up and get over it" these people must learn to grow a pair and take it like a man.

The whole point of the post was to just stop complaining about the Necrochasm and demand Bungie to nerf it, just get over it like a real man. Who cares about the bloody hive screams from cursed or hallowed thrall. It's not that big of a deal, it's just a cosmetic you cowards! (Pardon me of my rage) also it doesn't matter if you get smashed by weapon yourself, go pick one up and fight back with it or with a weapon that counters it. STOP ASKING FOR NERFS, NOW! PERIOD! IT'S NOTHING BUT A BLOODY POINTLESS NUISANCE! #StopNerfsNow

1 ReplyNechrochasm will probably be my absolute favorite gun until Destiny 2, the scream effect is awesome, the damage is fair, and it was my first 400 light item.

3 Replies"Just man up and get over it" That's what I've been saying for just about everything that was on the nerfing block after Suros, Thorn, Vex, and the other actual OP weapons back in Year 1. But, you know, some piece of sh- I mean, "[i]some expert professional Destiny player who never dies to anything because he is so awesome and better than you[/i]" is going to get killed by Necrochasm once, come to the forums and complain, and then be backed by all the other people that got killed by it once. Same way everything else has gone.

Nechrocasam is perfect right now! I dont think we see any complaints with it and any nerfs in the near future.

Only discovered it, because the description was different between characters. It finally explained why my hunter spent an hour killing thrall with no progress.. EDIT: Geez guys. Why would anyone have thought in the first place that you had to kill something other than thrall? Popped it open when my warlock got it, saw 350 light and cannibalism. Kool - just like a Y1. Was done with my warlock and had changed to my Hunter. He got a Husk drop, I had a bunch of Hive bounties and just went to complete them where I knew there would a lot of thrall, because that's how you filled a Husk - no reason to think otherwise.. Cleared my bounties, checked progress and saw next to no progress on the node. That's when I saw the word Wizard in the descriptor. Pulled the husk from my Warlock and it had Thrall. Was like "What the hell?" Switched it out, and proceeded to fill it up. My original post was about the "secret" of the variant. All Bungie had to do was mention there was a twist to the progression.. Yes, shame on me for not reading the "Fine Print" - cuz everybody reads every piece of fine print every time in this game, right?? I can't see anyone complaining about the necrochasm for pvp. It's nowhere near op but, the crybabies seem to always surprise me.

I honestly am having a blast with the Necrochasm in heroic strikes. With arc burn the explosions can do some massive AoE damage. I tried it in the lamps part of the 390 CE and it was a bit of a disappointment however. Still. It is a barrel of fun in the right situations.

1 ReplyI can see it now... people will say "The thrall explosion is too overpowered and it needs to be NERFED!" Meanwhile I'm just sitting here laughing as the forums go crazy over it. The gun doesn't need a nerf, if anything it needs a buff, instead of cascade it should be replaced with a perk that gains ammo through kills in general.

Nerfs only come from people getting slammed in the crucible. I have rarely seen someone begging for a nerf after smoking some minions. PVP = Nerf PVE = Buff
