Edited by Krishnas Prophet: 3/24/2017 2:26:00 PMWow! I am surprised Deej replied! I am super greatful. All my past inquiries have been met with silence. Thanks for answering Deej! I don't check my Twitter nearly enough... Needless to say, his response is somewhat cryptic though. The interesting thing is (I will write more explaining this later) such low altitude pics like the one Deej posted, do not necessarily represent proof of the round earth. Yes, it shows curvature. But remember: the Flat Earth is a disk. It also has a "curve" when seen from far away. But the Flat earth's surface also extends for thousands of miles, and is covered with atmosphere. When viewing the surface from "low earth orbit" (assuming such pics are real) the combination of perspective and atmosphere creates an optical illusion. The portion of the Flat Earth nearest the observer is visible. The rest is obscured by atmosphere, and perspective leaves the impression of a curved horizon meeting the edge of darkness. But in reality, the Flat Earth still extends for many miles... But it is very possible that Deej (and Bungie) support spherism. And that's understandable. I respect the right of everyone to believe what they choose, but I will continue to engage such beliefs with rational empiricism in the hope that they will realize its falsity. But Deej only showed us a pic. A picture with different possible interpretations. I've said before that Bungie could be on the fence regarding the round/Flat earth controversy. They might not want to be direct about it though... This picture supports that. However, I am very greatful for Deej taking the time to engage a system of beliefs that is frowned upon by society. It shows that he is a brave person intellectually, and I respect that. Thank you for your response Deej! Maybe we will get the chance to talk more later... ;)
