To the people complaining about the Adept Raid Weapons, Why?

I guess I'm just dense because I don't really understand why the new adept weapons are such a bad thing? We're getting some of our most favored weapons back from the abyss that is Year One but for some reason the new system being used to give us back our elemental primaries is being hated on by a lot of people on Bnet. I don't understand, ever since Year Two began people have been wanting a solar and void companion to the Zhalo Supercell but now all of a sudden it's a bad thing that we're getting just that and more. I'm not trying to be harsh and criticize people for this, so if I come off that way I'm sorry. I just want to know why people are hating on this so much. Edit: Grammar and Spelling(I rushed this a little) Edit 2: Leaping Leopards Batman I didn't expect this to take off. Edit 3: I've been reading through all of your posts and I seem to have an understanding of it now. It seems that people are just genuinely upset that they can't run their old generic loadout from Year 1 ex: Fatebringer, Black Hammer and Gjally. I can see why that is disappointing but I also see the potential for new loadouts to be crafted from this. Fatebringer is still getting a legendary varient so it will still be one of the better weapons for VoG, the same rule applies to VoC.

Sigh. I'll just be blunt. People are complaining because they can't be OP & they have a bad case of nostalgia. It is funny how this community can be summed up by the picture of a snake eating its own tail. So back in Year 1 when Light was a stat on gear folks complained we all looked the same. Then, once folks began to clear raids it reached a point where you needed the same 3 weapons. Basically everyone was exactly the same. All gear had become placeholders for specific weapons & armor. Bungie agreed with the community that things needed to change. What was the point if we all looked the same, had the same weapons, & played the same? It made 90% of the gear in game worthless. And there was no variety. You saw snarky posts about folks mot having _ weapon being kicked or not allowed to group. How if you don't have __ you are pulling the team down. Etc... So they took away elements from primaries & suddenly lots of primaries became viable. Like it or hate it. I personally like it as it made my weapons acceptable. Back in HoW folks wouldn't take you into PoE 32+ unless you had the holy trinity, fatebringer, or some raid weapon. I had a God Rolled Red Hand IX, Supremacy, & a good selection of RLs & Machine Guns. But nope. You needed to be able to burn for every slot. No elemental primary? Get good scrub. No black hammer? Unacceptable. (Some let Icebreaker fill in.) No Gjallarhorn? Tough. No Skolas for you. Anyways enough on that. I find it funny that a few weeks ago people were saying that they'd like Elemental Primaries to return, they'd even accept them as exotics like Zhalo. They would accept a long tedious quest to get them. Now they got them. And it's a crime because they are exotics. Folks say the game is too easy & there is no real decision in loadouts. But now they complain they can't have the old OP Holy Trinity Loadouts which would honestly would make the game even easier. But nope, Bungie is not listening apparently. Now with elemental primaries being exotic you need to think & plan what weapon is worth the exotic slot. This is apparently unacceptable. People wanted the old raids updated. Done. And now its a crime cause it isn't brand new made from scratch content. Folks wanted Nightfall blue flame back. Done. And it is a crime because the NF doesn't waste time by sending you to orbit so apparently the flame & its buff is meaningless. *rolls eyes* Folks wanted to look different but be viable in content. Bungie made gear infusable. Which apparently was a crime because now anyone could hit max light under specific conditions with any pc of gear. Not trying to take up for Bungo as they make decisions that baffles many people. But they need to keep balance in game. They need/have to make some tough decisions. They can never please everyone.
