Bungie ruined this game by pandering to all the crying that pvp fktards did. They can run around with pointy sticks and feathers for weapons for all I care. Just leave pve guns alone! My other thoughts are that pvp was perhaps supposed to be an add on originally and pve was supposed to be the main hub. Somewhere bungie moved that hub over to pvp and main focus switched. Leaving pve as the add on? Let's face it, many news reports and game alterations revolve around pvp?

I agree, mostly the PVP community that insisted everything be changed but also bungie, who was given the idea that it was ok to nerf everything even when people didn't complain. I.e. Looking at you gunslinger nerf of June 2016. Never forget.

PvP ruined destiny all the moaning has only come from Pvp, I don't care what anybody says it's 100% correct Pvp has killed destiny.

PVP did not mess up much in PVE, weapons still kill PVE enemies quickly and easily. The biggest nerf that hit PVE IMO is the ammo nerf for snipers and that has nothing to do with PVP, more to do with us f'n up King's Fall bosses with 1kys and Black Spindle. And that PVE nerf affected PVP. There is not one weapon from year one that I can think back and go man they really messed this up now I can't use this in PVE, most people don't use Hawkmoon or the Last Word in PVE. You can't blame the handcannon nerf inbound on PVP or PVE players because despite Bungie's claim I never saw one post about the range of hand cannons after the last nerf. Bungie has steadily ruined this game and PVE die hards vs PVP try hards blaming each other for ruining Destiny only diverts attention from the terrible job Bungie has done managing this game. I think that despite many's opinion that Bungie is an elite developer, they are actually not and were way to small to take on a game of this magnitude. This is not the same Bungie that was backed by Microsoft, this is a small developer that has 1 current IP they are trying to maintain while also trying to simultaneously develop a full fledged sequel. You can't imagine a company like EA or Ubisoft trying to sell micro transactions to their communities citing the need to fund a team to develop content for a game that had already been released and spawned three successful dlc's. Bungie is way over their head and hopefully will get some help from other studios down the road to help with future content releases. If not then we are in for the same half assed experience we all got in D1.

I believe what ruined the game was the amount of players who don't understand how much work goes into this game. They have an extremely team working on Destiny 1 updates to keep us occupied until the sequel in Fall. However, coding is long, tedious, and frustrating at times. I know because I was a programmer on my high school robotics team. One little change can cause thousands of errors in the code. Plus Destiny has a terrible game engine. It takes hours just to render a map so they can go and edit it. This community is full of so many spoiled kids that they expect so much in such little time. And all they do is complain. I have no idea how Deej, Cosmo, or any of the Live Team can handle all of the hatred you idiots give for working their asses off. I, personally, understand why they can barely put out anything new and have to bring back old content which, mind you, is what the community wanted. But no! All you do is complain like spoiled little brats!
