Thorn was balanced in vanilla Destiny

The community actually used to ask for the Thorn to be buffed back in the vanilla days! Search up any video with the pre-buffed Thorn being used by a competent player in the year 2014 on YouTube if you don't believe me. Other primary weapons, such as auto rifles work well back then, and you still had weapons like shotguns, fusion rifles and sniper rifles that would one shot you. The Thorn never stood out at this time, and people were actually asking for a buff (which it really didn't need). Most players just hadn't learnt how to use handcannons properly at the time. The 6 bullets made a lot of sense; if you wanted a weapon that could burn someone, you'd have to sacrifice mag capacity. Let's not forget that we had high impact pulse rifles that could two shot, high impact scout rifles that could 3 shot and badly flinch players, and various other handcannons that could three shot too. High and medium rate of fire archetypes of weapons were very effective and adaptable. Many people were using what they were use to using in every other shooter (auto rifles), and were yet to learn how lethal the other primary weapon types were. If only we had bounties that encouraged us to get kills in the Crucible with specific weapons back then. I believe that many of us will find the Crucible to be exciting once more if the weapons were reverted back to the way they were in vanilla Destiny because it will bring the Crucible back to when it was its most diverse. The Vex Mythoclast might the the exception to this, though. xD Comment and make you own post about this if you agree with this post or share similar sentiments to me about Vanilla Destiny. Consider what the community liked and disliked the most whilst you are making Destiny 2, Bungie. I will no longer reply to 'the Thorn sucked in vanilla Destiny', or 'the Thorn was OP in Vanilla Destiny' comments. If you can't explain why you feel a certain way, your comment will be overlooked. P.S. We have the Memory of Silimar now! - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-dDr9cMxsBU - Not my video!
