Let me begin by admiting it's not my account who's having the issue. It's my brother who is on the Xbox One and experiencing the problem
The issue is this:
My brother starts the game, and on the title screen when it attempts to sign in, the text on the screen switches to "checking for updates". It stays there for a couple minutes then shows error code Nightingale and boots my brother back to the title screen.
The xbox one is plugged to the internet via ethernet to the modem. The internet is also not the issue seeing as how my brother is able to play Halo 5 multiplayer matches. At the moment, he is playing Big Team Battle without problems. I can also play online games, watch streams, watch youtube or browse websites.
This issue has been happening since last night. We've tried resetting the modem, power cycling the Xbox One, doing a reset (keeping games and apps) and Destiny still wont sign in.
Could we get some help? Thanks
Update: Deleted and reinstalled Destiny. It still doesn't work. Still getting Nightingale errors

With all due respect, I am bumping my own thread. I need assitance with this. Impossible that the game doesnt work and Halo 5 works flawlessy.
