Explosive Pyre is next!
With the recent landfall nerf to hit us, Bungie is making the Impossible Machines, the only Stormcaller specific exotic, a less viable option
Shadestep was nerfed a while ago allowing for one use before cool down. This affected the Graviton Forfeit, Nighstalkers only exotic.
Sunbreakers only have one exotic, the Immolation Fists. These grant the perk Explosive Pyre. Now having Explosive Pyre as a bonus in no way makes the Sunbreaker OP. I am not in any way calling for a nerf. Im just foreseeing into the mind of Josh mind you

We just can't have grenades that track and stick. That will just make the Trials players mad. We can't have that. -- sarcasm --

7 RepliesYou forget that the Shadestep nerf also hit Twilight Garrison, so there's the exotic nerf for Titans. Also Sunbreakers have already had nerfs to Forgemaster, Flameseeker, and Cauterize. Of course, the nerf to that last is about to be reverted in favor of making work like Hungering Blade. If anything, one of the super talents on the Nightstalker grid will probably be next to get nerfed. Nightstalkers haven't had one of theirs nerfed yet.

I've been using the impossible machines in the current strikes, and to be honest, I can't really feel or see a problem. The length of time of the super has been reduced, but not to the point that the perk doesn't feel viable anymore. I'm having great fun with them. Hopefully nothing else gets nerfed within the supers, cus there's nothing that springs to mind being "op"-but that's never really stopped bungie has it.
