I'm a avid WoW player. If you are not at max level DO NOT BOOST. Learn your class. Go from 1 to 110 learn the world. Make friends! Find a guild or a group of people that you enjoy playing with. Pick your end game activity and find a group (Raiding, PvP, RP, lord help you if you are a pet battler.) Do not pick a PvP server For the current state of the game, I suggest only picking one class to level till you get geared and have your Artifact Knowledge high up there. This not currently alt friendly.

Edited by SG GEARD: 2/28/2017 6:00:25 PMConsoles are trash. Worst mistake i made leaving WOW to go to xbox one with friends. All console game = trash server never dedicated

Edited by aiv6: 2/27/2017 5:37:27 AMI played it for a while when WoD released but I stopped playing. Not saying it's a bad game, but I just couldn't get into it and quit the game.
I already know what's coming...
Here's my advice to you:
Play Runescape.
Remember leeroy.

Did somebody say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of The Windseeker]?

Edited by Lynx7386: 2/27/2017 4:19:14 PMI played from launch for about 4 years, quit a little after the lich king expansion. Apparently sometime between then and a few years ago someone managed to hack my completely idle account and it got banned for "gold selling". Druid (and to a lesser extent shaman) will always be the master class

Bought the game 10 years ago, never got it to work, still have it today.

Do every quest.

Been awhile for me but if you want quick invites play a tank. Healers can be good too.

I recommend getting into a very friendly and very helpful guild like me. On the realm Ysera and my guild, "Elite Champions of Ysera" is amazing. I've got so many friends there :)

Stopped playing mid cataclysm Was a great game, can't speak to what it is now however Best tips I got when playing it was join a guild of casual players Since they are typically more patient with new players And branch out to multiple classes

12 years of WoW here... Join a guild and find like minded players Pick a class you enjoy and learn the rolls you have, getting to level 20 is pretty easy and gives you a decent idea of what to expect If you don't want to get ganked alot as you level then stay on a PvE server Don't worry about gold early on, it comes as you progress The lore in game is Insane Have fun...There is so much to do and to run out of content is pretty damn impossible

As far as tips go, the game will really shine once you got the level cap. Also, find a guild to join asap, and start socializing and making friends that will help you along the way

Yeah, I tend to wow the players on the enemy team. I intimidate the -blam!- out of them.
