Okay, look. Bungie has to reap what they sow when making bad ideas, but there's always room for fixing what's broken. Take time to read both ideas and give feedback. I do understand idea #2 needs more information to be understood completely. If you made sidearms affected by the special update bungie just released. Except for the one magazine when you spawn with, then we would be fine. But you also have NLB abusers in the crucible but they are not consciously abusing anything, it's bungie that has allowed them to exploit their new patch by making the NLB not affected by the special ammo boxes. [u]How To Fix[/u]: [b]No Land Beyond[/b]: Spawn similar to sidearm with a limited rationalized amount of ammunition such as 3-4 rounds. It wouldn't be too much or too little to be weighted unfairly against primary fights and special fights. Also make it loose any gained ammunition from previous life, upon respawn or revive. [b]Ice Breaker[/b]: should be banned in competitive matches including Trials/Elimination, (it should automatically be "not permitted for use in this game mode"; due to Unlimited usability) [b]Sidearms[/b]: allow sidearms to be affected by loss of reserve ammunition upon death. Obviously excluding the sidearm specific perk for always spawning with a magazine. ----------------------------------------- [b]Alternative fix[/b]: Reverse the patch changes to the special ammunition and sidearm buffs/nerfs they have sustained in the last couple patches. All special weapons are subject to loss of ammunition upon Respawn or Death. (This includes going into the next round of a game) The loss of ammunition depends on the respective class of weapon a player is using for their special. [b]Fusion Rifles[/b]: Players will lose 50% of ammunition. [b]Shotguns[/b]: Players will lose 70% of ammunition. [b]Sidearms[/b]: Players will lose 60% of ammunition. [b]Snipers[/b]: Players will lose 40% of ammunition. Players who change from weapon to weapon (i.e. Shotgun to Sniper suffer the ammunition cut of the current weapon chosen) [b]Examples[/b]: Shotgun to sniper: will suffer a 40% loss Sniper to Sidearm will suffer a 60% loss Percentile amounts depends on a player's max special ammo amount for that class of weapon. -------------------------------------------- [b]BOOM[/b][i]Your mind is blown from two ideas[/i]
