I never thought this day would come. I remember when NLB came out, it was a badass concept, I wasted my strange coins getting it thinking it was so cool and... I regret everything at the time. I remember once my friend was getting his ass beat by a NLB and he sarcastically yelled "NERF NLB!!" And at the time it sounded funny to think the worst gun in the game getting a nerf. Over the years, this funny joke became less and less of a joke, until this week where a nerf for the once worst gun in the game, was announced. Has the day come, where bungie has actually nerfed EVERYTHING to the point where NLB is actually a very viable weapon? Have we actually nerfed everything so that the worst gun in the game, is a meta option? Have we actually nerfed everything to the point where, NLB itself is getting a nerf too? I've never EVER seen any game with this much balancing. I don't want to sound like a little bitch just ranting on and on but, I've never played any MMO or any shooter or any game for that matter, even games with competitive metas, I've never seen this much balancing, and mostly nerfing. I do love the game and everything but the balancing still amazes me. The point of balancing is so we can play the game and have fun, right? That's the whole purpose, so at the end of the day we can play smoothly. [b][u]After all, this is what balancing is meant for right? To BALANCE weapon so the game is ENJOYABLE AND FUN. You don't take away the enjoyment and fun to make it balanced, it should be the other way around..[/u][/b] [spoiler]I have 800+ kills with NLB, and this was done for fun and for me trying to make an excuse to use the gun (I regret everything. Strange coins where valuable at the time.) it was an epic challenge to kill shit with this gun, the vanilla NLB before any balancing was horrifically bad but satisfying as all hell.
