Lol, apparently I need to quit pvp
I just rage smashed my controller into oblivion over getting sniped five times in a row by the same NLB pro. Now I feel absolutely stupid for ruining a $60 controller over a silly (and poorly designed) pvp mode.
So I think I am done with that aspect of Destiny. I apparently don't have the proper temperament for fps pvp. Ah well, live and learn.

at least it wasn't a $150 Xbox One Elite controller. i just throw my TV remote into my couch. its much cheaper.

I' never get pissed because of what the opponents do but team mates can annoy me from time to time. That's not to say that I havent raged but the two or three times I can remember, over the span of 15 or so years, were all due to shitty game mechanics. For instance, JiP's. I hate those with the same passion that Trump hates the media and when shit like that happens too frequently it's slowely building up inside.

Last time I went EXTREME rage mode was when in a match I'm trying to snipe this guy who's afk, I line up the shot, and then my teammate apparently doesn't know how to go around me and literally pushes me a couple of feet...I miss the shot and he pushed me right into view of an enemy sniper and I died. Normally I'd be a little mad and get over it, but that same scenario happened like 2 more times, me getting pushed like a damn feather in the wind, right into my death...I know I'm a Hunter and id imagine I don't weigh that much but Jesus...

I know that this is a game but sniper rifles in the real world don't act the way they do in Destiny. You simply can't hit someone from 10 yards away! All you would see in your scope is a blob of color as they are set for high range. Now this is where the sniper fans in this game jump in to remind everybody that this is just a game not the real world. Ok tell that to Bungie when the constantly nerf hand cannons. They tell us that they do that because "Well hand cannons don't act like that in the real world" "You just can't shoot someone from across the map with a hand gun" "We must nerf them to be more like real life" In the real world it takes snipers a long time to set up a shot and they have a spotter to help them. They don't run across a battle area, throw up their gun from 20 or 30 yards and instantly head shot a moving target. They do in Destiny though . . . all the time! This is not a complaint or a nerf request just an observation. Regarding your situation I would make it my mission to hunt this person down and nail them or leave the game and forget about it and move on to another one.

2 RepliesLol, I know that feel. The thing that pisses me off in this game is teammates. Always camping and always blocking doorways. Shit gets me so tilted, I start playing badly. They never seem interested in winning, just trying to ruin your experience. You are always at their mercy. :(

1 ReplyThat depends on how many you've previously smashed? I play on PS4 and can tell you I've been very close to twisting the controller to the breaking point many a time because of the raid. PvP though I've learned to just deal with though. Still yell a lot 📣📣📣

Dude I've only broken one controller from playing something other than Destiny(it was H5 warzone, my team was getting farmed & spawn killed), but I broke at least 3 controllers from this game's abysmal PvP.

I'm pretty sure you've had many great games where you've left a lot of opponents feeling shitty. Try and be positive.
