Ok so I'm seeing a lot of wadded up panties scattered throughout the forums and for once I'm not happy about the occasion. It appears an even greater rift has opened within the community regarding the special economy changes. Now before I begin I want you all to know that these are my personal thoughts and opinions and before we bring on the hate we need to take a good look at the pros and cons on the situation. 1. Had bungie implemented this system at launch, no one would complain because at vanilla launch, to you, it would have been completely normal. 2. Sidearms should've gotten the same treatment. Anyone with ocular lenses could've seen this meta coming, I personally called it 2 months into round 2 of the matador meta. 3. Alternative secondaries i.e, universal remote, no land beyond should've either had their perks changed at the time of their creation, or with this patch. Give IB increased precision the further or closer you are to the target. Ammo regen is just lazy and uncreative. 4. Since update how many more "primaries do you see? I know I know sidearms are primaries op, but for real I've had great fun with my lingering song and a sniper, just gotta stay alive. 5. What do you think we could do about our current special situation? (other than complain) I know this is a tough time for everyone, and I as a player who recently quit the game and came back to see the patch like the changes, is it perfect? Is anything perfect? I can understand that bungie has screwed the pooch one too many times and royally screwed us players the majority of those times but the problem with this "special ammo" situation is the players, us. Everyone wants the best easiest killing tool all the time, to the point where a lot of people don't even play with different weapons, they just look up the current meta from (insert bland streamer here) and proceed to use that and only that. Is it bungies fault that we choose to use what we assume to be the best possible combat option? Or have we as a community become just as lazy as bungie in choosing what shoes we want to fill? I want to hear your "thoughts" on this matter, and I want to hear them in a way that differentiates you from the common bottom feeding toxic waste of these forums. Also, what other ways can we solve the great special crisis of 2017? P.s. forgot to mention, bungies already done this with special before, for like a month during HoW, which to me was the best crucible has ever been. Same shit happened then, Icebreaker invective glitch to get that precious special forcing bungie to revert the changes. Hopefully this time they address the problem instead of caving.
