Why People are complaining about Memory of Skorris! (My Opinion)
[b]First I have to say that I Play at my Hunter and Titan the Memory of Jolder and on my Warlock Memory of Perun so don't say that I'm depend on this Artifact. I'm just here to tell People what is the sence behind the Skorris Artifact and the People who are complain about it. Let's start:[/b]

So first for all that you have a big disadvantage on this Artifact. You glow like a Firefly when your super is charged. That's the Advantage Bungie you gave to kill them better. You see them faster and you know when their Supers is charged[/i]
Now to the View of the Complainers:
[i]They just see the Problem, that Enemies can Charge their Super faster but they miss the Point. Not the Artifact is the Problem. The Problem is that the anti-skorri playerbase is too lazy and incompetent in Trials and other Gamemodes to Play really tactical and don't give someone the Job to set his Priority on the Player with the Artifact. It is just like Rift, you have to kill the Runner. So you have to kill the Skorri-User when his Super is charged.

2 stay next to their Radar range so they think you are there. One of you run around them and attack them from behind with a Scout/Sniper while you start to push them when they start to attack your teammate? That is how I solve this Problem very often.
[/i]So please stop complaining, start thinking and set Kill-Prioritiys on single Enemies from the Enemie Team.

It is your own Decision to solve the Problem. Nerfing this Artifact is not a good way. You will just shoot in your own Leg with this calls.

Please stop saying this it's not how PvP works. Picture this: A team wants to camp in the back of the map during trials when it's 3-3 charging up supers what do you do? So many peoples solution is to just go kill them but that's not how a game of trials (with competent players) goes. Even if you ignore all this it's already stupid enough that you're given super energy for doing nothing but skorris takes it to another level. I don't even care whether or not it gets nerfed but I'll still acknowledge how broken it is.

1 ReplyIs this satire? If not, the reason skorri's is broken is because you can sit behind a wall with your teammates in trials and charge supers in 2 minutes. I don't think you are familiar with it's true usage in PvP modes.

1 ReplyI don't care one way or the other no dog in the fight but I think it is about not having supers be the deciding factor in trials matches. Too many supers and that is just all it is about.

But the fact that there is a part of the game that allows you to camp and charge a game altering ability twice as fast as normal is not ok. Allowing someone to consistently get magical hammers that one hit kill or zap you with electricity every round makes it so that gun skill (Aka aiming and shooting) is not relevant. To get a team out of a camping situation is difficult because you have to expose yourself and put yourself in a bad position to get them out of camping. People should be rewarded with gun skill not sitting behind a rock. I have a skorri, but that's because they haven't had a tier 12 jolder for intellect/discipline yet. That's what I need to maintain my tier 12 build. I don't however camp and build supers, I actually push and make plays. In elimination playlists, skorris should be ineffective in my opinion, but maintain its capability in the other playlists and pve. That keeps them where they should be.

3 RepliesSure in a perfect world that is possible. In reality people with skorris will just run away, hard scope or wombo every door making impossible to push. In the last 3 months I guarantee over 80% of my losses have been to teams with at least 2 people with skorris. My proposed change to it would be people get increased super energy when getting kills nearby someone with skorris. That way it's a buff to it in PvE but prevents people from camping with it in PvP

No......the reason people get butthurt about skorri's is because their PvP scrub asses can't be troubled with 100 fallen kills to get one in the first place.

Skorris is not an issue If you have an issue with skorris, you're bad Skorris is no more of a crutch than a sidearm is

IMO skorris is used out of pure laziness. I leave it on my character most of the time because it has utility and it fits my build. But I'd much rather use Jolder, or whatever that one is that gives you persistent radar. I just don't switch them cause I'd have to change some stuff around....

40 RepliesYour comparison to the rift runner is flawed because unlike in rift the skorri user can camp in a headglitch with his teammates until the supers are charged. In rift the runner must make a push deep into enemy territory to slam it. Skorri needs nerfed- especially now that we are in a meta where it is tough to get ammo for special weapons in trials.

1 ReplyYes you can kill the skorri guy when they are camping and throwing grenades at chokepoints, hardscoping and teamshooting in a corner. It's not a tactic, it's cheesing and it's really cheap. Skorri has no place in PvP, end of conversation.

19 RepliesI'll tell ya why. These trials babies don't want anything that forces their hand. They can't stay in their little head glitch spot, and wait. They don't want to rush, they don't want to play the game. Everyone just wants to take turns peeking/head glitching each other. Why do you think NLB is a thing now? Only sure fire way to hide in your spawn and snipe every round. With skorri that strat actually has a down side. You're gonna have to come out and play. You can't be a passive little baby anymore. Trials kids don't want to be aggressive. Too.... Bad. I figured if the worthless top 1%ers were actually bad asses, they would win no matter what, but alas.... here they are crying because skorri is clearly soooooo op that it's guaranteeing cheap and easy trips to the lighthouse for idiot n00bs with no thumbs. (#satire there) Seriously, stop crying. If skorri gets a nerf, it'll be JUST for trials. JUST so the vocal crybaby minority can get something else nerfed. JUST so they can hide and snipe from their spawn.

Skorris is an amazing pve artifact. Now thanks to trials we will get another nerf that -blam!-s up pve. Cuz you know bungie wont actually fix it. They dont fix anything, theyre the ones who break it

3 RepliesI see a lot of people countering with, "Just don't let them camp" or "figure out a strategy to stop them from camping". It's not that easy. Following into an area where they have the advantage is almost a sure way of getting killed. This past week's trials map for instance, Black Shield. Inside was typically where everyone would camp and trying to push in is a death sentence because the enemy has an angle on you far before you ever see them in your sights. Then there are the teams that run when you push them out of their hidey-hole, completely avoiding any engagement whatsoever until they have super. Skorris is a crutch to win. I'm 100% for separation of PvE and PvP but in a competitive game mode hiding and avoiding the enemy should not be rewarded. And stooping to the same tactic isn't a solution.
