Now, lots of people are upset about the recent changes to Truth, including me. There was no need to change the gun at all. That being said there's not much we can do about it except complain so let's move on. I've seen a lot of people saying things like 'now Truth is useless for PvE.' I would strongly advise against using Truth in PvE, it is not a PvE weapon, it is more tailored to PvP, or it was I should say. Gally is a good choice for PvE but when it comes down to what does the most damage and kills the quickest then you should all really be using Sleeper. Sleeper Simulant is one the of highest damage-output weapons in the game, if not the highest. The only weapon I can think of that could possibly do more damage is Dark-Drinker, but given that Dark-Drinker is a melee ranged weapon, it's not ideal against most Ultras as they can 'ground-pound' making close quarters combat more difficult. People are obviously free to use any weapon they desire, but if you are looking for maximum damage output at a range then Sleeper Simulant wins hands down. Plus if you have the generic carry more heavy ammo perk on your armor then it gives you 12 shots with Sleeper instead of 9, which is what really makes this a go to weapon. Even with just 9 shot, your still going to be dealing a ton more damage that gally. Even if you miss every crit shot, it still does more damage. Just something to think about, sadly this isn't a solution to Truth in PvP, but wanted to address those who use it in PvE and those who haven't tried out Sleeper cause they were using Gally.
