Hey Deej, I'm Not Going to be 'Adapting'
Do you really think that after playing this garbage patch for a couple days that we haven't made up our minds about how we feel?

I can't stand what you guys have done with the game. Personally, I was having fun with it exactly how it was. You could have done what you did with shotguns. I don't care. This character doesn't even have a grasp, or a Dragon...
What we have now are 6 man firing lines and people camping holding on to what special they have left.
It's ridiculous and I won't be playing this crap until it gets changed.

*Wow that escalated quickly. I really wasn't expecting this post to go anywhere. I'll admit that a friend and I ended up doing a few Doubles last night (lawl) and it was pretty enjoyable. I used a wormwood the entire time tho.. This special ammo thing is just not a good idea.

In 6s there are 12 people running around and everyone grabs the special the moment they see it and leaves none for the team. Unless you have a full team, this gets annoying very quickly. You just end up using a wormwood because fuk it.
I haven't played elim yet, but as I see it, the special spawns every minute. You have 1 chance at special per round. So why would you use anything other than a wormwood?
And any other game mode you'll end up wormwooding out of sheer convenience.
*Played some trials (main account). I really enjoy Trials. And I guess I can't complain about the fact that EVERY TEAM was using Icebreaker, NLB/sidearm. I did. And it's fun sniping. But there's almost zero weapon diversity. Lol.

Been here since day one and I am honestly mad at myself for sticking it out with these fools for this long. Even worse I've reached my peak with these freakin' "Newbie COD Flunkies" who have continuously gotten on here and trolled support for the rash of HORRIBLE PATCHES these guys have dished out over the past year or two. (BTW if you're offended, then yes I'm talkin to you newb. Deal with it like I gotta deal with this crappy patch.) FACT: The destiny community as we know it has been decimated. This last patch is the straw that breaks the camel's back PERIOD. I will not support any sequel of this game in the near future. DONE! It's sad when you have to handicap a hardcore play-style so that less skilled players can have a chance at playing on someone else's level. I've heard from supporters names like "Shotgun Warrior" or "Camper". Lol. Those names are code for "I lost too many close quarters battles with a formidable opponent because I was dumb enough to engage in a series of ridiculous close range 1v1 handgun vs shotgun match ups or stupendously stepped out of cover into a main traffic lane of the map 100 times during a match and got my head blown off by an elite sniper. I mean you newbs have made it so easy in the past. Hardly any fun anymore. Then you have the nerve enough to say " Adapt? Get Gud? Leave if you don' like it?" Lol. Sounds like you should take some of your own advice! And here's the thing. I, like most of the REAL VETS of this game, can still play at a high level in spite of this recent patch. What we're really tired of though is constantly getting our skill sets nerfed to passify all of you PVP babies out there! You newbs wanna get good? Put your time in! Learn you weapons! Learn your maps! Pay attention to your radar! Stay with your team! Quit cryin' and keep tryin'! And stay off these message boards cause you DON'T represent the majority of what's left of the Destiny Community. There. You happy now? Crash course in being a decent player. Things should get better for you from here now though. All the real competition is moving on, myself included. Enjoy "Nerf-Crucible".....idiots. I'm out.

96 RepliesGeneral trend I'm seeing: Good players like the changes. Bad players hate the changes. Go figure. The update focuses on having gunskill. The skill gap is much wider since so many people have not used a primary weapon in months. Oh well, keep crying.

Edited by Erijian: 2/26/2017 10:30:18 PMMake enemies drop some of their special ammo when they die rather than having it vanish into thin air, and adjust Sidearms so that they lose all of their special EXCEPT for what the "reserve ammo" perk gives to them. Also give No Land Beyond actual flinch; no more of this visual flinch nonsense. Just my opinion over what Bungie should do. EDIT: Hey, Bungie is actually doing two of these. Good on them for using common sense for once.

1 ReplySadly and what i think most fail to realize is this retuning is and always has been bungies lame attempt at false content to stretch out periods of drought. Its cheap to force you to go find old guns to see if they are part of the new meta but the sheep religiously jump onboard so bungie keeps their numbers up and feel they are right

5 RepliesPlayed since alpha, and yes this game has been through a lot of changes, but just played some crucible for the first time since the patch.... WHAT THE HELL!!!!! It's just awful, its now a massive cluster f**k of desperate cod players, in fact, i would say it takes more skill to play a cod game than this garbage now. I don't know if its because I've been playing a proper fps that requires one to work as a squad and play the objective, but this is just piss poor at the moment. I get the impression BUNGO is just writing this game off now in preperation for d2, which i will CATEGORICALLY not be buying. Sure the first year had some grinding and rng drop rate issues, but they have TOTALLY ruined this game and the hype of pursuing a certain type of weapon/armour rendered absolutely pointless... BECOME LEGEND MY ARSE.

sooooo i see where you are coming from here, i myself haven't played much since the update but i will say.... for months i've seen meme after meme, forum after forum saying that "Primaries are dead" "primaries need a buff" in bungie's defense, they did (i say this VERY loosely) what the community (kinda) wanted. specials aren't as dominant when you have to actually obtain the ammo. now that most primary weapons are buffed, guardians can play with what was intended.

I wish they could have balanced special, instead of forcing the meta change. But I do enjoy the primary battles. Why sidearms had to be untouched I'll never know.

I've started getting used to it though, the only thing that seems iffy to me is that Sidearms can keep ammo after death. But other than that, I've been enjoying the primary gunfights. Some have become the worst, while some have become the best with this patch. Edit: I respect your opinion.

2 RepliesWell nice opinion. But i actaully like this patch. Balance is great. Great job bungie!! Finally a shooters game . Special ammo is fine. I still get kill with my shotty . But i never ran around this past year relying on my shot gun to get kills . So this has be awesome!!!!!
