February Hotfix/Rebalancing

I'll proceed to provide the opinion of a fellow guardian that i found, reflects my own thoughts regarding the recent update and hotfix on destiny:"Played it last night for the first time in 2 months, when it was 90% Truth, clever dragons and Matadors. Instantly loved it alot more. Blink shotgunning is gone, flying jaugunaut shotgunning is gone, full teams of high calliber rounds shooting clever dragons are gone. There is actually diversity now because so many guns are exchangeable depending on player's preference. How are more people not happy with this. The game should have been called "Truth of the Cleaver Matador" " The Pros : Never have i seen such a plethora of weapon types AND weapon archetypes being used all in one lobby. I get shot by Mida and Suros Regime alike, Zarinaea-D and Hawkmoon, The Palindrome and The Parthian Shot. I finally have some "motivation" to get to know where and when special ammo crates spawn, as conquests gravitate around them, i don't get snowballed by the same person, using the same shotgun/sniper/fusion all game long and i can effectively harm the enemy team and push them out of terirtorial control by grabbing their special. I get into way more primary gunfights and i'm learning more about how different weapons perform in the Crucible. Bum rushing and aping with juggernaut seem to be all but gone. The Neutral : Truth has always been a rocket launcher which i rarely found myself using, be it in trials or in crucible matches. It always felt as mother-bungie grabbed my hand and killed the enemy player when i shot with it, making the heavy ammo round feel extremely sisconnected for me. Therefore i am not in favor of it outmatching any other heavy weapon in the game, on pvp. On the other hand, i recognize that the way that the nerf to Truth went about was perhaps a bit harsh. I'd call for either 2 rockets in the mag and one on reserve with a huge reload timer, or a slightly reduced agressive tracking. The Cons : It was stated by official sources that the Hungering Blade changes accidentally "leaked" into the Traits of other subclasess and weapon Perks alike. I'll go over the ones that stand out for me briefly. Suros Legacy : This was never an issue. Never have i seen a post saying "i lost that gunfight due to that damn OP suros legacy perk". Universal Remote : 3 rounds in the mag seem harsh, uncalled for on a weapon with such little use and overall destructive to the weapon. Striker Titan Transfusion : Titans already have a nerf on shoulder charge. Transfusion made it so you could keep up, after soulder charging or using storm fist on an enemy, enough to get into cover and prepare for another engagement. Red Death : The perk that DEFINES the weapon, has been nerfed to mediocrity. I can't see how this weapon would be relevant as an EXOTIC, now. Flux/Fusion Grenades : Why did a 1 shot grenade need a damage buff? The splash damage it now deals is enough to kill you if you're being hit by a sunsinger with the perk that burns on grenade hit. Armor Values : Au contraire, i believe that higher armor values would cause a shift in the cmmunity outbrakes against certain weapons. More health = More uptime = More time to react and fight back= More Fights (clearly from a pvp point of view, of course). Why would i run increased Armor for Arc subclasses now instead of extra recovery on arc burn damage? Conclusion : The patch overall feels great, i see way more use on weapons that i did not know existed, there is actual action around special ammo crates, but not to the degree that people camp and huddle around it. Clever Dragon and matador reign supreme no more and the crucible feels alot more paced and fun to play. I am against the "blanket" nerf on ALL SHOTGUNS, regardless of archetypes. I had a fast firing shotgun with range finder and close and/or personal. Why did that had to be nerfed? It took 2 shots to kill anything from point blank.
