(Firstly, before this starts, THIS IS A SUGGESTION and, can be changed! Story and mechanics!) Syn, Cabal Strategist is a guardian in the arms of the Cabal. And what I mean by that is the Cabal command found his light to be so bright that it is manipulatable, giving them a chance to change his mental values. After being completely entranced by The Cabal he found a way to trace back his light to the traveler and take control of it. Naturally, The Vanguard found out and aren't big fans of the plan and sends guardians to kill him. Mechanics: Firstly, Syn has a laser bomb. Seriously. He throws it. And it explodes in a barrage of lasers that can one hit kill players, However, there is a solution. On our pic, it shows green spaces. Players can hide behind this to not get killed by the laser barrage. Easy! Just, yknow. Adds survive this barrage and still shoots at you. After about 30 secs in the fight, he'll throw the bomb, so kill those adds! After that, He'll teleport a random player to a maze, that player will also be blind. In order for damage to start, that player will have to get out of that maze. However! There is a solution. On both sides of Syn, there are monitors that will flash on. If the right one turns on, The person in the maze will turn right. Left, turn left! Tah da! (Players will be brought out after making it to the end.) After about 5 secs of damage, there will be a notification in the bottom left corner: ---WARNING--- LIGHT EXTRACTION PROTOCOL ACTIVATED Then, a percentage number will slowly climb. (10% a sec) In order to not have to wipe by having your light sucked out, you'll have to turn around and shoot the now visible servers in the back of the room. BUT! Breaking the servers will end damage, so try to shoot it as close to 100% as possible! (Not activating damage in the first place will trigger this but with no breakable server) Repeat that process for a few times (Max 5) and Syn will activate his bomb and the green barriers will go down. Bring his health to zero and he'll fumble and drop his bomb right at his feet, blasting him and melting him to ash. So there it is! Again, if Bungie used this they could change anything they wanted. I don't care. This boss is used for a raid/ black spindle type thing.
