If there's a chance to insult people and send them away crying then yes!
-
When people are civil about it, yea.
-
So long as the person I'm debating isn't a liberal or conservative and instead have an open mind.
-
Rather debate in person. Over the web or phone is pointless.
-
Only if it's a real debate and exchange of opinions and beliefs. Otherwise I just get angry.
-
I'm addicted to playing devil's advocate. I can't seem to help myself.
-
No, because I suck at debating.
-
Only if it's master debating.
-
To an extent. When you get someone who is just too set in what they believe to even acknowledge anything you have to say on the matter, at that point there just isn't any hope.
-
No. But my views constantly force me to. I cant stand by while people remain in willful ignorance about basic natural truths.
-
Only if the person I'm debating has sound logic, and stands on principle rather than position. Honestly if someone comes off as incoherent or overly worked up I'm not going to continue the conversation
-
No, I like winning
-
Krishna doesnt enjoy debating smart people.
-
Yes, as long as the person I'm debating with is interested in an actual debate and not a debate that rapidly devolves into a name calling /blame fest

Edited by Riot Actual: 1/30/2017 9:28:23 PMIt depends on several things. Who against, what about, etc. I hate political and religious debates, but I try my best in every debate.
-
Seeing as I always win, I do indeed.
-
I used to, but now that I'm older I just want people to piss off and leave me alone, don't have the energy to argue anymore
-
I thought I did back when I thought it mattered yes, but that was several layers of brutal reality ago. It seems like the hip thing now is just breeding more powerful memes in your respective echo chamber. Then they fight. Like Pokemon.
-
You could say I'm a master.
-
Yes, but I tend to stray from two subjects in particular: Politics and Religion. All these arguments lead to virtually no where as these two values are often cemented within each individual. You will not change someone's view and you in turn won't be swayed by the other. Instead you both bark your opinion to the sky and expect change, only to have the thread ultimately die off. I still affirm that B.net was a far more peaceful place when discussion of these two subjects was banned.
-
As a SJW, yes.
-
I enjoy dissecting the arguments of stupid people and seeing how long it takes for them to lose any semblance of coherence. It sometimes gets boring, because they almost all end up doing the same things.

Edited by Silent: 1/29/2017 11:18:04 PMI do up until the person starts blurting out illogical nonsense.

Why would I debate when Dr. Pepper is clearly the best soda?
-
well... what i like rhymes with debating
-
Why debate when you can masturbate?
