I don't know if this idea of weapon balance has been brought up before, as i don't frequent these forums too often, but clearly a weapon balance is overdue for this game. Since year one of this game you folks notice that a weapon type is dominant in the crucible, and when a weapon patch comes in to effect you nerf that dominant weapon type to the ground. Then another type starts to dominate, and you nerf that. You know that this is how you do weapon patches as you have stated it recently in one of your weekly updates. This weapon balancing idea i have could either be a really good idea, or it could be a really bad one. What if instead of nerfing a gun type to try and fix what the problem is, you folks at bungie try and buff every gun back to when they were considered over powered, and or were considered the "meta"? Restore exotics to original stats when they were dominant, legendaries when they were dominant. Let the community be able to play with old guns they loved, and still be successful. When you folks did not deliver a weapon patch with the winter update it left a sour taste in my mouth, and im sure as well with many other players throughout the community. I understand that with buffing every weapon back to their former glory some things will stand out more than others, and it is at that point that you should make slight adjustments to damage, or what you feel necessary to even the playing field. However i am one such player that likes to use different weapons in the crucible but i am getting sick and tired of losing to the same weapons over and over again. This was just a random thought that popped in to my head as i was having a conversation with a friend about the current state of multiplayer in destiny. I love this game and i know many other people do as well, but i cant play multiplayer the way that it stands right now. I want this game to succeed and i want it to playable. As it stands right now in multiplayer i just wont play the game. This again was just an idea that i had, and i hope others see this as a possibility to change crucible.
