I do enjoy a good political argument. Except that never happens. Every person I begin to argue with, seems to resort to logical fallacies to try and get their incomprehensible point across.

1 ReplyPolitical posts are very interesting and promote discussion Just the users here are just idiotic and make these threads incredibly redundant. They don't promote discussion, they want to call liberals or conservatives mean words and leave it at that. They don't want to discuss the plans, the bills, the actions the parties took, they want to call them idiots and blame every little thing on them. God forbid you have a different opinion of them. That leaves you open to insults as well. Even if you bring evidence, sources, and tons of other articles that prove you are correct and they are wrong, they will never admit it. They will argue simply to argue and argue till you get bored and tired. Half the shit they'll say won't make sense. Political posts are interesting discussion, but the users who post them just need to quit. I know several users I refuse to comment on their posts simply because I know how the debate will go.

12 RepliesPolitics are a joke on offtopic. Period. What gets reported on here is like a fraction. So many events/acts dont even appear on here. Still waiting on a pizzagate shooter post... about the drumpf foundation closing , his disgusting metting with the press recently ect.. This place is mostly a conservative led bash forum. Jalexo's post (idk name spell) is a perfect example with "like or comment if you care about trumps tax returns". Then any upvotes was met with a downvote to make it look like nobody voted. I used to visit offtopic so i could stay updated on developing events. I usually see something here before i see it on the news. Now that i have a better place to get info just as fast this place (and less biased/reports more). Now offtopic only has a shitpost value (as if there is much value in that). I still stay for #gaming so i can get fast news for game related things atleast.
