Andrew Jackson was one of the best presidents.
Andrew Johnson (after Lincoln) was probably the worst.
Just going to say it
JFK was super overrated
Bob. You said of all time. In the future there will be a president named bob.

You know what's sad? I know more European kings, queens, nobles, wars, date of those wars, leaders of those wars, saints, different religions, some religious Japanese history, Greek leaders, battles, philosophers, myths and the stories of the Greek and Roman gods more than the history my own damn country For God's sake, I don't even know how many presidents we've had
-
The worst will always be the one we had last. (Not specifically Obama, I mean people always put the blame for the country's issues on whoever we just had as president.)
-
Soon you will have to add Trump
-
Millard Fillmore or Donald Trump wait .... nevermind, definitely Trump. Or either of the Bush's, or Reagan or Nixon, or Ford or Eisenhower.

Andrew Jackson

Edited by Icedancer: 1/17/2017 11:30:13 PMBoth of the bushes. Disgraces, the lot of them.

John Adams or John Quincy Adams
-
Either bill Clinton, Bush Daddy, Andrew Jackson, or Jimmy Carter
-
Buchanan and it's not even close.

Edited by Commander Tempu: 1/16/2017 8:56:07 PMTry George Bush Jr. He was acting like Tony Soprano only acting dumb and nearly ruining home owners across america. He did not do much after 9/11 except send us to places that did not do what he claimed. We are still paying off his stupidity. Just once i would like a Republican President to act with common sense. Nope every single one since Ronald Regan has doubled the debt and gave his buddies kick backs.

Both good options but probably Buchanan

James Buchanan gets a bad rap because he was the president that preceded the Civil War but really it's a bit unfair, he didn't want to push the issue of slavery because he knew it would split the union and it actually did not too much later... Andrew Jackson wasn't actually a terrible leader but he very much was a demagogue that did what he wanted despite the rest of the government's objections and his actions were ultimately tenement to genocide. He was however the first and only president to ever pay off the national debt but he's also the founder of modern Democrats... given there corrosive effect they had on our Republic since it is reasonable to claim he was the worst president ever. It should be noted though that context is King, a lot of presidents history remembers favorably like Hoover, lbj and fdr were actually pretty bad Hoover caused the depression, lbj was an unapologetic racist that ushered in the modern American welfare system and FDR was undeniably a fascist that much like Jackson ignored the rest of the government.) Likewise some presidents that are contemporarily regarded as bad like McKinley, Coolidge and Nixon were actually pretty good ( McKinley led us victory in the spanish-american war and gained control of Puerto Rico, Guam, Cuba, and the Philippines, Coolidge did the unheard of and actually shrank the size and spending of government, even Nixon despite his disgrace presided over the moon landing, established osha and the epa.)
yes Obama is one of the worst ever but that's a very lengthy debate for another time.
