Tiered rewards

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but after playing this game since day one, I've gotten tired of seeing the people who put in the least effort getting the best gear a majority of the time because of RNG. The crucible is a great example. Player A sweats that match, does good an ends up being top on his team. Player B sits back and barely does anything, moves just enough to not be booted. When the rewards come up, A got a blue gun and a mote of light. B got a legendary HC. Tiered rewards wouldn't guarantee the top anything or take anything away from the bottom. It would simply weight the rewards towards lower end blue gear and motes for the bottom of the board and higher end purple gear for the top. This would make playing the objective and playing the game in general more rewarding for those who put in effort. This could be expanded to all forms of play in destiny. With the new strike scoring it would reward teams that reached gold tier with a greater chance of rewards or perhaps changing so you simply hit higher reward tiers based on points gained. For instance gaining 50k points vs 100k points. This could be several tiers difference and could drastically change the drops. Tiered rewards could be applied to any in game element, and would make the game more rewarding for those who put in the additional time and effort, rather than relying on RNG to randomly bless you with your wished for item.
