Which class do you like the most and why?
-
Titan because they are fun
-
Void Walker. I LOOOOOVVVE the way a nova bomb gets rid of all the eyesores.
-
Here's my rundown... personal opinion, not assessment of strength. 1. Defender 2. Bladedancer 3. Sunbreaker 4. Stormcaller 5. Striker 6. Nightstalker 7. Voidwalker 8. Gunslinger 9. Sunsinger

Im surprised how popular this forum post got, Thanks Guys

I adore my hunter and my Titan. Hunter- they have a ton of drone grenades that feel really cool and unique - shadestep and lockdown are so good oh my god - cloaks are the coolest class item - they feel fast and snappy - Don't like the supers all that much Titan- they are by far the fastest class in terms of movement speed - TWILIGHT GARRISON - the supers are so good and satisfying - their armor in total looks amazing - feel clunky and have bad handling speeds sometimes
-
Warlocks because they take the most skill
-
In order of most liked; Hunter: Looks - 3/3 Supers - 3/3 Jump - 3/3 Stylish and agile - generally fun to play as Warlock: Looks - 2/3 Supers - 3/3 Jump - 1/3 Random but i like how far you can throw grenades with warlock. Titan: Looks - 1/3 Supers - 3/3 Jump - 2/3 Like how they feel powerful and can take damage.

In the crucible I prefer titan, because im more of an offensive player and Titans have pretty high armour & recovery stats. I do enjoy playing as a Warlock, but im not that good with it. Overall I prefer my hunter for two reasons. Reason 1: my hunter just looks pretty badass, especially compared to my other characters. Reason 2: I like the options you get when it comes to jumping and moving, when you're using Bones of Aeo, or blinking, warlock & titan have very familiar jumps, if you're not counting the warlocks blink. And Nightstalkers also get to shadestep, which I personally havnt unlocked yet since I started over with my hunter, but I'll definitely grind for it and hope to get it by the end of this week.

Hunters or warlocks because they both have blink, the hunters are the fastest and warlocks cuz of space magic

Edited by Youre Lightwork: 12/12/2016 6:31:30 PMStormcaller. Pulsewave & the Super. Ever since they announced the new subclasses at E3 in Y1 I'd fallen in love w. Storm...& they had lightning nades in that showcase too...ugh. Just imagine a Storm w. Lightnings omg lol. I do really like arc bolts as well. Idk why, but they're definitely one of my favorite nades in the game - the way they sound & chain to other players. It's just a really cool nade, i wish they were good like they used to be though. they really Shouldn't have ever been nerfed. But honestly i don't really know why else. I just seriously love it. I really like Nightstalker a lot too. Which is what I'm more than likely going to switch to after Storm gets nerfed. (Hope it doesn't but it feels inevitable) I played Void all throughout Y1, but the subclass just doesn't feel right without Blink for me. Idk why , idk how. I jus really do not seem to enjoy it nearly as much with Glide. Blink was such a vital part of that subclass for me.
-
Voidwalker because they have a "one-n-done" super with great grenades and grenade spam abilities. The life steal with every grenade kill is also very nice. It's a running joke right now. Voidwalkers can spam grenades better than the grenade spam class for Warlock. Kinda weird huh?
-
Hunter because it was my first, but my favorite subclass(es) are Bladedancer and Sunsinger.

Edited by GTLargo21: 12/12/2016 6:38:09 PMHunter for the gunslinger's gunplay perks. I also like being agile on those jumps. Can't blink for a damn and can't use shade step effectively, so I'll stick to my triple/quad jump with throwing knives, a bouncy incendiary and flaming bullets. My hand-cannon reloading is quick and the Ace will swiftly answer any probing questions from an agent of the dark.
preferred exotic: Hard Light
Titan comes second for the no-FCKS-given charge in style. That grand slam of electric energy to decimate opponents on all sides is awesome. They have a fun jump mechanic to use from a long fall and time it to land softly like you're landing a plane... only to keep running towards your enemy and shoulder charge them, followed swiftly by some shells from a shotgun or good ol' Fabian.
preferred exotic: Gjallarhorn
Warlocks, while last, have the magic touch... the lightning cast of a sith lord or a nuke from above. Draining their energy to make it my own so I can throw more grenades while healing my wounds at the same time... or juggle zapping them with grenades and melee to insta-charge the opposite and keep on eradicating the darkness. The warlock's can carefully and precisely hover to a perch to survey their next nuking target or lay them to waste with the oh-so light Tlaloc. Headshots for days.
preferred exotic: Plan C
Hunters because I favor a agile, stealthy playstyle that benefits from precision. In shooters like battlefield, the first weapons I utilize are snipers or DMRs.
-
Titans rock my socks.

Ambo
One for the money, two for the show. - 4/18/2024 7:39:36 PM
Warlock, despite the fact that we get discriminated by the other classes -
Like them all the same.
-
For me it is my Hunter. I main him with the Gunslinger subclass, using either Achlyophage Symbiote (Strikes) or Celestial Nighthawk (Raid) for PvE, and the Arachnid for PvP. I chose Hunter based on my playstyle in other shooter games. I prefer stealth (Bladedancer), nimble movement and support (Nightstalker) with some heavy firepower when need (Gunslinger). Plus I just think they look the coolest!
-
My favorite will be Hunter since she was with me from the beginning. Nightstalker in PvE for ad control and extra damage, then BladeDancer in the Crucible. Oh yeah, almost forgot about cloaks and the amusing Cayde-6 :)
-
Hunter. Mostly because the Hunter class represents my personality a little. Explorer, risky, quiet, and a cunning thinker. I also like the cloaks and the knives. I'm a knife person
And because Nathan Fillion is my Vanguard. So that's pretty cool
Kill everything. Everything you kill heals you. Do-over Become Darth Sidious
-
Titans, by far the best looking. I love the idea of being a tank. I cant stand the jump of the other classes. and butt towels.
-
I've always liked Voidwalker Warlocks (and some of their snazzy trenchcoats) but Striker and Bubble Titans are adorable.
-
Hunter master race.
-
Titans because they're a F-ing joke.
-
I'm tired between the VoidWalker Warlock and Defender Titan The general play style of the VW is just a ball, especially with the Ram and my shitty setup. The whole basis of ability based combat is neat. Call me odd, but it feels like you've got to know what you're doing what you're doing when you've my running. Back when I was good, I'd dare say I was god teir but that's a bit too braggie... The Defender isn't too bad either, but I feel like I enjoy them more in PvE then in PvP. It can become never invincible there if you've got it down, yet it just feels limited sometimes when you hop into a match with others.
