Bungie you have to do something about this Problem. A Buff for other Primarys would be good! It is ridicoules that this Weapon dominate the complete Pvp together with High Impact Shotguns. I can't use my Invective and my Shadow Price against the rapid fire pulse rifle/Matador/Party Crasher Players because my favourite weapons are so strong like a flexible straw... The Crucible was way better with the Legendary Weapons Balance from House of Wolves. We need this Weapon balance for primary weapons back.
Edit 1: If someone is here to write hate comments he can keep them away from my Post!
(Meaned are unimportant comments like "git gud" and other crap!)
Edit 2: If you think I am complaining about this weapons and want a "nerf" you're wrong. I want to tell you with this Post that the Crucible Needs more difference between used weapons. It is anoying to die and die and die so many times by the same weapons. Clever Dragon is actualll the most used Legendary Weapon (The Palindrome is on the second place in the list!). I hope you can understand that I want that Crucible makes "Fun" and don't gives you the Feeling to sweat against the others.

They need to do something about the crutch shotguns with insane rage!
-
People like you need to hold back on making posts like this since you are probably uninformed that a weapon balancing update is going to be released on the 13th. It just doesn't make any sense to complain like this when a shift in the meta is so close by.
-
My major problem with it is that it's pretty hard to compete with it when people are using modded controllers
-
I use it just to piss off people like you
-
Yeah, buff other primaries. I agree, but we'll see you in court.
-
Lol shadowprice & invective ? Those guns were competitive 3 years ago... but bungie Doesn't know how to make all guns competitive...
-
Yea I agree no variety
-
Feel the same way bout the distant star *sees it is i.b.* *gets off high horse cuz im not a manchild*
-
I personally can't really compete with people using a Clever Dragon because I rarely play pvp, but my mate was winning most of his encounters in Iron Banner yesterday against Clever Dragons and he was using an Extremeophile? (Spelling may be wrong) auto rifle from Dead Orbit. Maybe try one of those out and see how you get on. His one had a good roll though....it wasn't the vendor one :-)
-
Saladman's vigil...join voop nation and everyone who isn't a good shotgun warrior dies. Then cry because you can't hit anything while in the air.
-
OMG! There's a good weapon in the game that is popular because it works! OMG!
-
Go ahead, keep crying, I'll just keep on using my clever dragon.
-
Edit: If someone is here to write hate comments he can keep them away from my Post!
Soooooooooooooooo, don't post things on the internet if you can't handle the "hate." Ask Cartman to create you an internet safe place where you can say dumb shit and receive no "hate."
-
You can compete, but it takes a weapon you know intimately enough to be flexible with. Honestly, though, I think it's not that it's overpowered, I think it's just that everything around it's been nerfed to death. I felt the same about MIDA before it got its HCR chopped off; just the last one under the axe, so it was OP by comparison.

Edited by RAIST5150: 12/8/2016 5:29:22 PMHmmm....did't seem to die much to Clever Dragon the last few times I was in Crucible. Saw a few, but not enough to complain about it. Maybe it is the modes or the tier of players you are playing with? Shotguns....yeah, annoying but for the most part manageable once you get a feel for where they are mostly running and then you can adjust to try to counter them. The problem is really pretty much all the nerfing in attempts to "balance" weapons choices. Something is always going to rise to the top in popularity. Human Nature... We want what we feel is best. They need to make something else more appealing instead of knocking down what is popular. At least then we may have a short list of options instead of just a couple choices.
-
You must be new here... You can always try Clever Dragon's retarded cousin the Cryptic Dragon...
-
Edited by GakMan: 12/8/2016 4:22:44 PMMy Colovance's Duty seemed to handle them just fine, might be the roll I have on it though. It's on my Warlock
-
Clever dragon is at the correct damage level for a primary, others should be buffed.
-
Edited by LuuukeVader: 12/7/2016 10:16:38 PM
Crucible was way better while House of Wolves.
So true! We all miss un-nerfed Thorn that would 2 tap from across the map and Shot Package on every shotgun. Those were the glory days of Crucible! #MakeCrucibleGreatAgain
Nice
my god rolled clever dragon sucks i need a buff to my potato aim
-
Edited by PBRbaby: 12/8/2016 3:14:18 PMIt does get a little annoying when I'm doming someone with my high impact pulse and I can't even get through a second burst by the time a clever dragon burst me down. But it is what it is, the meta will eventually shift to something else for everyone to bitch about. Just try to enjoy what you can out of this game.
-
As a top 11%'er (not much to brag about but you know, since everyone is so stats this stats that) I can honestly say that Clever Dragon sucks. It needs a buff instead.
-
The weapon is working as intended. No buff or nerf needed for High rate of fire pulse rifles. You're just mad because you keep getting killed by it. Even so this community is so stupid, you always see post about primary weapons not being powerful enough and when a popular one comes by you people scream nerf. Its either you want primaries to hit hard or not. What you should be asking for is a buff to the overall primary weapon damage of Low rate of fire autos and pulses. Smh 😑😑
-
Thank you. So I'm not the only one who sees clever dragon everywhere
-
Hawksaw is better
-
In house of wolves when there was thorn I don't think so
