Destiny. You have earned a special place in my heart.

Well hello Bungie.net. This is my first time posting an actual forum here I think even though I remember being here from Halo 3 and on. I've loved Bungie for the majority of my life. Halo has been played in my house ever since it came out, and my love for Halo is still truly powerful but it's not that mystical kind of love for a game and a universe anymore. Then shortly after I hit my stride in gaming (getting more in depth into the different developers and art style) so of course I knew Bungie dropped Halo just to start something amazing. And I was beyond happy. My favorite developers making a new IP and it's essentially gonna have super big PvE stuff which I was enjoying more and more. The beta was where I thought I loved the game. The large Moon Crucible map that had the Cabal vehicle that shot cannons and grinding my Voidwalker even after the level cap of 8 if I'm remembering right. To speed this up I'm of course not going to be going at a consistent pace. Skip to about Dark Below. First DLC was where me (Warlock main) and my Titan main friend convinced our now Hunter main to get the game and we all fell into the game even more. Before that point we had beaten the raid and struggled through the amazing Queen's Wrath event (and I hate myself because I had to dismantle those a while ago). We got our weapons but I didn't have a Fatebringer and I was fine with that. Killing Crota with my friends and the horrible glitch to get him stuck on his knee and seeing The Legend Himself solo Crota all made me more thirsty for every little drip of Destiny on this Earth. I believe I reached the cap near the end of House of Wolves where I made it to the Lighthouse once (and it was sadly on my Titan) and all the easter eggs and inside jokes that we still use to this day to reference that day. Took a break on the game then got back into it during Taken King it was pretty good but I beat the raid twice and kinda sputtered out around the time that the hard raid came out. Didn't touch it much after Halo 5 came out (I played a good amount of Halo 5 over Destiny so my Warlock suffered). About the April update of this year I kinda played a bit more then fell out again. I of course have my Black Spindle and my Sleeper Simulant and some rare weapons and artifacts of items of Year 1. I got Rise of Iron of course but I haven't played it since the Halloween update, I haven't beaten the raid more than once if at all (I can't remember) and it wasn't with my friends because we had a divide in light level. I'm hoping to play the Dawning a bit and maybe get Ice Breaker back and enjoy myself with my friends for what could be the last time in Destiny. TLDR/Summary: I love Destiny, and it has been one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling video game I have played I think ever. Thank you Bungie and everyone at Bungie for allowing me a universe to create these amazing memories with my friends. Thank you for helping me and my friends become even closer. Thank you for making a game that I love with such mystifying beauty and admiration like I loved Halo 2. It's earned a place on the video game shelf in my heart (because digital downloads are the future) alongside every copy of Halo, Serious Sam, and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. I look forward to be a Warlock (in whatever way I can) in Destiny 2 :) -Signed, Aaron L. TheSpark123 From the third year of my life to the day I die, thank you.
