I think it needs a buff because it has a low ammo reserve and there is still sniper glare when you ADS while invisible, which practically makes the perk useless in PvP. The perk promotes camping and you can't camp when you pick up 3 rounds per crate. You then fire too many rounds at one person when they are flinching you because they saw you through your invisibility. All in all, this gun has great potential, however there are so many things wrong with it that needs to be fixed. Thoughts?

No everything does
-
No. It's fine as-is. It is a PVE weapon not PVP.
-
Make it so it doesn't see atoms when our scope in. Done
-
Taking away the sniper glare would make it OP. Invis is actually really helpful for sniper duels since it's harder for the opposition to snipe you since they can't see your head. Agree with an ammo reserve boost, and maybe a boost to aim assist and handling, but the fatal flaw to it is its exotic status. If it ain't OP, it's not worth your exotic slot.

-blam!- this. you can't camp and win. getting to the point where people want to snipe without even turning on the ps4... just sit back eating popcorn while invisible on a kill streak playing with his toes.... -blam!- that
-
Give it the entrensic perk "shoot to loot" that way the sniper can be used how it is built to be used. Hardscoping/camping
-
Who still uses it?
-
Yep the zoom is too high.
-
Like every exozic

IMO, its the best damned sniper in PVP. The only thing it needs is hair trigger. It's a gun built to allow you to ADS and hardscope with relative safety. It's not a quick/reaction sniper. Adding in hair trigger would give it that first fire, first kill ability to compete with faster handling snipers.

I actually use this fun a ton. A reduction in the brightness or shade of glare would be nice. But honestly I would just take some extra aim assist. The invis perk gives me confidence that I have a millisecond advantage over my opponent. The third eye gives me confidence to hard scope (which is what I do). The zoom helps for long range but makes Mid and close very tough. The ammo I can deal with, if I can't find ammo I switch to a sidearm. The recoil is very predictable for me and that is my favorite part.

Edited by Man Torpedo FTW: 12/5/2016 11:27:13 PMAbsolutely. The Invisibility effect should last much longer. It wouldn't hurt if the sniper glint was at least reduced somewhat. Perhaps a color change from red glint to a dimmer white glint. I've honestly found more use for it in PvE when I don't use hunter class.

If there ever was a weapon that needed a buff...
🍻does anybody use this useless piece of crap?
-
ahhh, to go back when Praedyths Revenge and P&T were crucible beasts.
-
I agree, but if there's one gun that needs at least a reduced glare, it's No Land Beyond. Seriously why does my Iron sight have a huge red glare coming of of it?
-
Yeah buff it Oh take the Red Glare on aim of boom op new difrrent
-
If you never get killed by it it's probably safe to say that it needs a buff.
-
I should be able to hip fire across entire maps
-
I think the removal of the red dot would benifit this more. It is a campers sniper. Once fired, the invisible effect is gone. Sure it would create a unfair advantage for sniper lanes, but that's just how this works. Snipers are suppose to be tactical,so anyone running thru a sniper Lane should always take precaution. Invisibility is not very "OP" as people may assume. If you pop in a lane, even at a extreme distance, you can spot the light reflecting quite easily. There are also artifacts that help with this, since they will be camping they probably can be located thru their supers. Even without that artifact, you can still spot someone. It takes a sharp eye of another sniper. I feel as if the red dot system makes it too easy to take on snipers as is & this would makes atleast one exotic viable within PvP for the sniper archetypes.

Sadly the icebreaker may be destined to go the same way as patience and time. Used extensively by a lot of players in year and yet in the current era gathers dust in the vault.

Re: scope lenses glare, NLB should be the first in the line because it does not even have a scope! That fact was voiced so many times in the past, it makes me feel sorry for Bungie's support folks that cannot get any credible response from the product team to reply to the community. Not wasting my time on that.

Nah! I use them for infusion material and marks. It is fine for that as it is. lol

Bump.
