Constantly matched against invincible red bar players

Why am I getting matched against red bar players? It needs to stop. Just because I have great internet is no reason to match players who have absolute trash internet against me. YES, it IS their fault. There are plenty of things they could do to improve their connection, but they don't do it, simply because it doesn't benefit them to have good internet.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE initiate connection based matchmaking. I'm tired of playing people from across the world.

Im east coast.. got 100 up and 50 dowb... with a good ass router.. i run into a red bar teleporting blinker (saved vid lol) and he message me as a "lagger yellow bar" cuz we beat him lol destiny has really sensitive servers... but at least they keep hacking to a minimum.

1 ReplyIt may be because you have good internet... they may as well... how good were you in crucible before (since your KD is probably wrecked bc the red's now)? At higher match made pools there is rampant lag switching, ping flooding, and stat rigging. If your connection is unstable it will mess with you tremendously in this game. If anyone in your fireteam poisons the well it will happen too. If you pm me via PSN with your email address I can send you a guide I keep for MY crew that will line things out to the point where you know it can't possibly be on your end. Then it's going to a website listed in that guide to check for live network outages as well as googling for hacks that day. A lot of times it's something happening in the U.S. or globally. It happened a few days back and is usually heavy over the holidays. Don't worry though. I got u.

1 Replysure but try pinging outside your state. lag normally happens when your going against someone outside your state. i have played against some red bars yet had no issue killing them then u have red bars who are skipping around making it impossible to kill(possible cheater/lagswitcher). i know sometimes ill lag and have a huge deley on killing my target. in the end my target kills me before they die. im sure normal lag isn't an issue.

11 RepliesIf you go up against me, I've only recently started to lag. Started a month ago. Now it's not the good superman lagswitch clutch/godmode lag... it's the shoot 3 mags of a handcannon into a titan until they finally one shot me lag. On top of my lag hurting me horribly, going up against the godmode lags is like 20x worse than when I had the best connection. This is like lag+5lag=kms lag
