After logging in to the Android companion app, the error message: "The given API platform is invalid or expired" appears and I am unable to see anything in the app other than the bungie store. I've confirmed the app is fully updated, tried clearing the cash, and even just tried to delete and reinstall. Please help! Thank you!

You've deleted and reinstalled the app. That's good. Most people don't go that far, so nice work. Anyway, what kind of device are you using? Just brand and model. Likely isn't related, but could be relevant.

I got this last night after updating the app, and then my phone started hard crashing and wouldn't boot properly, though that last bit turned out to be my battery now seems to go from 20% to 0% instantly.

Happened to me too, last night. The day before had been fine. Also tried the TowerGhost App for Android, and it was telling me there was an error with my sign-in. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was signed in properly, and re-signing in proved fruitless.
