(NOTE* this is coming from a non cod player) So this weekend the open beta came out for Xbox one and I was actually In support of the game, I was trying to defend it as much as I could but I just can't anymore, the game comes out in less than a month and it's just terrible. The graphics look like last gen quality,The game play is as bland and boring as bo3. The character customization is more stale than AW and bo3 and the maps are boring! I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon and call it the worst game ever made, cause it's not. And you can't really blame infinity ward, this game started production when advanced warfare came out and the future setting for cod was. Enjoyed by the players for a bit so obviously they'll go with the future setting and can't really scrap the entire game 2 years into production. So is there anything good I can say about the beta? No not really, sadly as everyone said it looks and feels exactly like bo3(from the little I've played). It's essentially the hardline of cod(not that hardline was a bad game, I personally love it) and the huge failure by infinity ward/ activision to keep the servers up which is extremely embarrassing for a company as big as themselves..... They didn't prepare, they shouldn't even release this game. This is a disgrace to the gaming industry but then again, it's activision and they know if you slap the cod name on something it will still be the best selling shooter of the year and make them millions upon millions of dollars. But no matter what I say It's just my opinion and I like to share my opinions on here. BTW if you're going to "buy it just for cod 4 remastered" that's pretty idiotic.... Especially if you're so against infinite warfare. Don't buy it at all, I don't really have a say in how you spend your Money though so do what you want. :p
