Inept has been around since Vault of Glass and Atheon were the content to conquer. Six guardians grew tired of joining clans with big numbers but were inactive when it came time to finding a group. Those six guardians broke apart from their clans and formed Inept. We remained small throughout Vanilla Destiny, Crota's End, and House of Wolves, but when news of the Taken King expansion broke, we recruited up to a small group of 15 for the expansion. Many of those members left, but the core of the clan remained. When Rise of Iron was announced, the recruitment process began again. We had an open recruitment the first week of Rise of Iron and grew to 25 members. Three weeks into the expansion, we cut the inactive members and that brings us to where we are now - 20 members and 2 raid teams. When it comes to what we're currently looking for, we want people who play this game every day. We want the people who spend their days at work on the Destiny subreddit. We want people who have wives (or husbands) who don't understand why we sink countless hours, days, or months of our lives into our virtual avatars. We want Guardians with vast amounts of experience and skill. Guardians who love this game and every aspect of it, whether that means you're looking for a team to raid with or a group to PvP with. If that sounds like you, read below and see what we have available in the clan. Currently we have two raid teams. Raid team 1 is full, and raid team 2 has one open slot. Raid team 1 is clearing Heroic mode three times a week, and raid team 2 is freshly formed and looking to start stepping into Normal mode to get to the required light for hard mode. We'd like to have 3 raid teams, so that means we currently have 7 open spots - 1 spot on raid team 2 and 6 spots for a team whose goal is yet to be determined. The third team also has an open position for raid lead, so if you have extensive raid experience and want to lead and coordinate 5 others through Wrath of the Machine Normal or Heroic, make that known when you message your application. Now for the other aspect of the clan - PvP. Most of the members of our clan are not hardcore PvP players. Some went through the expansions without giving much thought to PvP at all, but have recently started to show interest in Trials of Osiris. We are looking for experienced PvPers who want to run trials with clanmates on a weekly basis. If there's one thing I learned from my years of leading my team through raids, it's that the more you play with someone, the more you begin to see their strengths and weaknesses. This forms a bond between teammates and allows you to rely on someone. This is what we'd like to do with Trials of Osiris.
