“Why does Oryx want to Force all the memes?” Someone asked.
“To feed himself the funniness of them. It’s a bit complicated though.” The tribe leader told him.
“So what’s all that mean?”
“Alright,” The tribe leader clapped his hands together to bring everyone to the campfire.
“Oh great, another one of these.” The tribe's squire commented.
Everyone came over and sat on a log.
“What is it?” A woman asked.
“I’m going to tell you how memes work.”
“How memes work?”
“That’s not a proper sentence.”
The woman groaned and puffed her cheeks.
“Memes live off of funny. The funnier a meme, the better it’s life will be. But that doesn’t mean they’ll live longer. The more a meme is referenced, the more funny it loses and the more memory it gains.”
“What’s a memory?” A little girl asked.
“It’s what lets memes exist happily within the Dead Meme Realm. Memories are gained by the amount of lulz they give to the people of this world.”
“But what’s that got to do with how Oryx Forces things?”
“Ah, you see, Oryx sucks out the funny in a meme to sustain himself. When Oryx does this, they will have no funny left, but they also have generated little to no lulz to go on to the Dead Meme Realm; they become Forced Memes. No memories to be happy and content, no funny to let them gain memories. Their only choice is to join Oryx and the rest of the Forced Memes in hopes of getting their funny back.”
