Archons Forge is garbage.
A month into the release and this is still horrible.
Start and event without any help because you waited forever and nobody showed up because the matchmaking can't do something as simple as "PUT PLAYERS INTO ARCHONS FORGE INSTANCES THAT HAVE OTHER PLAYERS ALREADY" and then you die. Go to use a splicer key to get back in and the event fails.
And then you have to go do that stupid patrol to get another offering. Go back in and STILL nobody is in the archons forge.
This is why nobody plays it I guess.
Court of Oryx was much better. At least the system put other people into the area with you regularly.
Edit: Thanks for pointing out the slow walk everybody. I actually got some matches doing it that way. Still kind of BS you have to do that in order to find a match though.

2 RepliesMeh, it's easy enough to solo the fuses and enhanced offerings. The perfected, not so much. People usually join during those though.

For the millionth time, WALK into the Forge zone slowly from an adjacent zone. Works 95% of the time for me. Sometimes I have to do it twice, but that is rare.

4 RepliesThe forge has matchmaking, you just need to give it time to match... If you crouch walk from the main entrance to the forge, you will find other players... I have never found an empty forge doing this...

This happened to me the first time ever (because I didn't actually know what the forge was) since then every single time i do a slow walk from servitor and always find people, i ended up being in the forge for upto an hour at a time

Try the slow walk , I do it right from the servitor as you enter Archons keep . Slow walk all the way up you'll find a match instantly ... I do

A month into any Destiny DLC and everything is stale and boring. Nothings changed since year 1.

run through the arena to the next area and walk, walk back you'll almost always find a bunch of people in the middle of an event

I find a group every time. Go slow through the hallway!
