Enough with the butt ton of green (and small part blues) engrams in the raid, I've lost out on actual raid gear because of all this crap that overfilled the post master.

Def agree. I have actually lost good gear and weapons because postmaster is filled w blues and character is filled w greens. You should not b losing any raid gear or weapons. They should not be able to b pushed out of the postmaster by blue engrams. Greens should def b automatically put into weapon parts or armor materials
-
Once you complete the main story, greens should auto dismantle into parts, but should still drop at the current rate. Once you have reached 340 on all equipped items, they should auto dismantle. Once you have reached 365, all legendaries autodecrypt. (These levels will change with 2.4.1, but the system should move with it. All blues and legendaries give the same amount of rep with the cryptarch. And all rep packages should stack.
-
Green engrams should automatically convert to weapon or armor parts. I'm assuming they added green engrams to the drops so we wouldn't run out of parts. That was a huge complaint in year two.
-
There should a way to auto dismantle greens. Literally never gonna touch them except when I want a challenge for pvp. Postmaster should 100% prioritize legendary and exotic gear over blues and green warlock bonds. But I feel on the greens. I don't have time to go though and dismantle a bunch of garbage during a strike and every pause in a raid exponentially increases the chance of the group dismantling. I literally try to avoid picking them up now just to save time and since glimmer isn't a problem I don't care if I have to buy 500 weapon parts or whatever.
-
Definitely for the raid. Not for all activities though. Those greens are free weapon and armor materials
-
Get a spin metal ghost. Then wait for your faction to award rep for spinmetal. You'll thank me later.
-
I agree make it like year 1&2 in which green engrams disappeared after time of playing they are garbage and useless anyways. More of an annoyance than helpful.
-
Simple solution: stop carrying so much crap in you inventory and pick up your greens and dismantle them. Theres no reason to literally have every gear space filled up to pick up only one engram thats new. Its literally not that hard.
-
Enough with the stupidy. Learn how to properly manage your inventories.

Stop with these posts. Dismantle greens after every boss encounter. Dont go into the raid with stuff in your postmaster. Simple.
-
Bump - auto dismantle for parts and glimmer. Always needed < Look at this post also. Post space getting invaded by junk also https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215110479/0/0

Actually i dont want them in the raid. But anywhere else is good i get glimmer, weapon parts.
-
At what LL do they go away? I'm 385 now and still get them. I'd love for them to just auto breakdown into parts or armor.
-
Postmaster isn't an extra vault.... if you know something is going to drop that you want to actually have, make room for it on your character. Takes an extra 10 seconds, and then you don't lose anything.
-
It's not that hard to clean the PM. Especially if you're going into a raid, you should take the time to clear it up. Not Bungie's fault but your own. Don't be a lazy gamer. You're just pushing buttons on a controller while sitting down. Don't be that guy.
-
There is a dismantle option for a reason you know... Most areas do not rely heavily on moving a ton where enemies are killed in masses. Avoid the engrams. Dismantle everything in between areas, collect/dismantle until gone. Honestly people that complain about this are just blaming Bungie for their own mistakes. "We need more weapon/armor parts!" *more drops* "Waaah! Too many engrams!" Seriously, make up your freaking minds...
ps, less wipes means less engrams
The reason I only played the raid once in kings fall before challenge mode was a green machine gun from golgoroth.
-
100% your fault for being lazy.
-
Why are they even dropping green engrams it's so stupid I've lost a lot of s*** because of them. They should be removed.
