Stupid question: if load up the raid, and instead of starting the entrance go to the archon forge with your fireteam (you can access it, right?): can you start it?

I've always had great success with the crawling up the stairs method, but it would be a nice to have. On a side note, Im surprised it doesn't work as well for others. I've never crawled up the stairs to an empty forge, maybe a dead forge with people standing around or another solo person, but never truly dead.

There's absolutely no reason one should ever go into an empty social space! Doesn't matter if it's 3am, move me to a populated server!

Don't forget you have to have a year one ghorn, Jade rabbit emblem equipped while crouch walking backwards... spamming the nonono emote. Whoever made that video spread total garbage about the mm corridor. It's a lie.

You dont need to crawl up the stairs. The moment you enter the area it is matchmaking you. You can bring a fireteam in and it will still matchmake if you need numbers. Everything you are asking for is already there in game. I do think bungie needs to tell us excactly how it works though.

Are you mad! You are asking Bungie to stop making gamers spend more time on this game so they make their quota and stop finding ways to stretch out what little content they have offered. Nothing against you Op, but within the last 2 years haven't you noticed at all that there is to many things that are not added to this game that should of been in from the day this game was released? ROI has no actual content and to add things that will allow you to blow right through it is not something Bungie will allow. Seriously, look at every Bungie has done in the last 2 years and tell me they haven't found numerous ways to make gamers spend more time doing nothing then actually doing something in this game. Here is a small list that can go a mile long... Nerfed everything from your super to your revive time, and somethings a few times along with it's entire category. Actually Bungie is out of control on nerfing in this game it's actually pathetic. Time gates. Only 3 man/woman fire teams. Barely any matchmaking. The "social spaces" and they added another one that no one uses to be what? Lol. Playing with the RNG. Reduce the drop rates increase the drop rates reduced to drop rates increase the drop rates reduced to drop rates increased drop rates reduced drop rates. Did I say reduce the drop rates, better known as nerfed the hand me out updats a month later after giving the hand me out? Removed primary Elemental. After y1 nerf made less effective perks on gear and weapons. Made less effective weapons, made a light level system that you have to do the repetitive contact numerous times to look for that god roll because y2 weapons suck. Oh yeah! It's called "variety" now. Sorry, my bad. Funny how having etheric light you didn't have to go through all this wasted time to get one weapon that rules them all. And that my friends currently seems to be the shotgun Lmfao. Zur not selling exotic shards, heavy synth was reduced, the exotic engrams that you end up with multiple times with the same item. More the half the vendors are irrelevant. Infact more then half this game is irrelevant that Bungie is now forced to find ways to stretch out the grind. I haven't even scratch the surface on what Bungie has done to stretch out this game instead of actually making a game and that isn't even a joke.

I dont think it necessarily needs matchmaking. What it needs is to actually put you into a game with people there. What happens, is when you walk up those stairs it puts you into a closed server and its basically just pot luck whether you end up in a server with someone else, or on your own. So it doesnt need matchmaking, it just needs to work properly and put you into a server with other people...
