This isn't about whether people want character progression to transfer over to Destiny 2. That is a whole different topic of discussion among the community. We have all spend hours upon hours into Destiny, and many people don't like the idea of losing any armor/weapon/shader/emblem/(you name it) that they have worked hard to obtain. I personally want to see a fresh start with Destiny 2, especially with old consoles not holding the game back. But back to the topic at hand, the 1 thing that MUST transfer over.... Emotes. Or more specifically, any cosmetics including sparrows that have been bought as micro-transactions. But I'll focus on emotes specifically. Without a doubt they will continue emotes as micro-transactions as they have been refreshing the store with new emotes more often than they have released content in year 2 (Eververse is highly successful). As someone that doesn't mind spending about $2 and $5 (blue and purple emotes respectfully) on emotes, I do mind if I have to pay again for the same emotes in Destiny 2. For example re-grinding for certain Exotics that they might bring back in Destiny 2 is one thing. But bringing back the Energetic Dance (just one example) in Destiny 2 as a micro-transaction and expecting "us" to pay for it again is a complete slap to the face.

I don't think they can make us pay for them again in all honestly. They would have to either not include them in the game at all or give them us as we have paid for them. It's law.

I would have said grimoire....that is really the legend of what you have done.
