Disgruntled Customer!

Hey! Firstly I've been a player of Destiny since year one and thoroughly enjoy the game, I want to make it clear that I am not here just to b***h about Bungie. Okay, so I'm playing Rise of Iron and I'm attempting to play a little strike playlist. Attempting. I use this word because I have now been disconnected for the second time (the first time being right at the end of the strike) while playing, despite having a perfectly fine connection to the internet. Now this is nothing new to me, its something I know you guys at Bungie are constantly working on improving. I'm currently seeing Marionberry, and I think before I saw Baboon. However the error code is not the issue here. The issue is on 2 fronts. The first being that while a disconnect is aggravating anyway, its is now amplified because any buffs I have active have now been wasted for half an hour - in this case its a vanguard boost. This is made more aggravating because I spend silver on purchasing vanguard boosts, so now not only has my time been wasted, so has my money. Honestly, I understand its a small amount of money, but for me its the principle, and you could argue that the error codes I'm getting suggests an issue my end but I only get this issue with Destiny so its a little puzzling. Basically bungie I don't want you to say, "we are improving our services... bugs are being patched..." Because I know you are working hard. What I want is to politely ask for compensation for having my time and money wasted. I'm not asking for anything special, even just a vanguard boost waiting for me at one of the various Postmasters would be nice. On a second front, and this is entirely separate but because I'm grumpy right now I feel it should be said. The 'Contact Us' page of this website is upsetting. No email, no address, no phones, I get it, you would have a million people messaging you but 'Contact Us' seems like an unfitting title for a page with links to forums/ another page to apply for a job. Okay I'm done, I don't know what I expect to happen from writing this ranting message but just know that after the years I've played Destiny, and all the changes that have happened this is the first time I have been truly annoyed enough to want to actually say something about it. After a 10 hour shift all I want is to play this amazing game. And its proving to be more agro than its worth today. Thank you for reading, Phil Warlock fo' lyf yo!

  • I agree! My partner and I have the exact same issue. For ages the game was working great. Little to zero network errors since year 1, but now the game has become unplayable AGAIN! Constantly disconnecting, beetle and baboon error codes, always losing your ammo and kill count during activities and overall lag in PvE and PvP. By the way, we are also both hardwired with 360mb internet. Absolutely no issues with our internet on any other games or services we use, ONLY Destiny! It's EXTREMELY frustrating considering the amount of time and money we've both put into this game and always giving it glowing reviews and now all these problems that we thought were finally a thing of the past.
