Striker Titan Nerf

Striker Titans eat all the damage in the world from spamming shoulder charges to using fist of havoc to not die and eat every shot. Striker Titans need to be NERFED😡 There's 3 main things that need to be fixed. 1 The shoulder charge is spamable still to this day and people say "no there's a 5 second delay and the tracking was reduced" No the 5 second delay does nothing while every other melee charged ability takes 20+ seconds to charge considerably the most OP melee in the game RN 2 The lightning grenades have the largest range and blast radius of any other grenade ( besides the trip mine coming second ) which makes that grenade OP 3 Titans can wait till they have a sliver of health not even 1% of health left and they will pop fist of havoc taking no damage and gaining a cheap kill Most people complaining that these are not issues are the ones using the class of striker the fix needs to be able to put damage on the Titan while using the super, the shoulder charge needs to have a longer delay 20+ seconds, reducing the radius and range of the lightning grenades

  • First off, shoulder charge was already nerfed. If you are seriously still having problem countering it, then Destiny is the wrong game for you. I would recommend Halo but Spartan charge might trigger you. Try CoD. Shoulder charge is a high risk/high reward ability. There are many counters and it puts the striker in a very awkward and risky situation. Starting with the activation, a titan must keep sprinting meaning he can't shoot or throw grenades at anybody and he's got no extra armor leaving him completely vulnerable to you. Then during the animation the same stuff as said before happens. Now if he misses this means he's in a very bad situation but a good one for you. You will be able to easily take down a titan that misses his shoulder charge because he will have expected you to die and he will be stunned to see you alive. The best way to get them to use it and miss is to either back up, run away, or jump at the last second. The clean up the titan. Now for the counters. As stated before a titan attempting a shoulder charge is very vulnerable as he can't shoot, throw a grenade, and he doesn't have extra armor. This means you can use any method to take him down. Here are the main counters, primary weapon fire, shotgun, sniper spam or headshot, grenade, weaken then melee, heavy ammo if you have any, super, team shot, back up, run away, or dodge at the last second. Those are he basics to countering shoulder charge. Shoulder charge is actually one of the easiest abilities to counter. You can do all of those things and here's the key, pay attention. Striker aren't invisible on your radar. If they are coming in you can see the huge red blob on your radar or the enemy running straight at you. Also no one said you had to stay standing there, you can run as I said before. Now if you get shoulder charged because you were focused on another enemy and you couldn't pay attention and counter it, well here's the thing, you would've died to that enemy anyways. He would have killed you with a grenade, melee, special, primary, or super. The point is you would be dead anyways. Also, shoulder charge isn't a melee ability. So don't compare it to one. It's a melee attack that falls under the category of passive perks in a subclass. Stormfist is the melee ability of the Striker. The fact that you didn't know this just further invalidates your already weak argument. Lightning grenades do have some visual issues, I'll give you that. But the solution is to just change the animation to display the proper range and cone of the grenade. It needs that cone and range for many reasons. They're the only positives to the grenade. The Lightning nade requires perfect placement to be effective. If you throw it at the wrong angle, to far, or to short, it won't do anything except make the Titan look stupid. Second, it takes two full burst to kill any armor stat Guardian. The blasts have plenty of time in between them for you to move out of the way. They also can be destroyed with just a little damage. Also, they hurt and kill the Titan thrower. And, I'm sorry I can't hear you from all the way on the other side of the map from your skip grenades chasing me all that way. At least lightning grenades have multiple ways to counter play them. The only way to counter a Skip is to run away. First off, FoH is a super. You aren't meant to survive it or to easily kill the person using it. It's designed to kill you as effectively as possible with almost no way for you to survive. This is even more true for supers like FoH and NB as they are one use supers. One and done. If they miss, oh well. Too bad. Gotta wait for another super. For something like Arcblade or HoS, you can miss a swing or hammer and just say oh well and attack again. Second, FoH requires you to be right up on the person to get the kill. You have to run right at the enemy to kill them and they can see you on the radar and in game as there's no form of invisibility to hide Titans and no extra armor while moving towards you. You have plenty of time to shoot them or move away because why else would a Titan be running right at you? Use your brain and think a little. Also, you can easily kill a Titan out of the FoH animation. I've been killed out of it plenty of times by just one person. You just missed. They're not even close to being invincible. Readjust your aim next time before complaining. But you wouldn't know the annoyance of only getting 1-2 super kills a game since Hunters technically have 3 roaming supers. Which leads me to my next point. Maybe you should make a Titan and get more than 171 kills with one in Crucible before you complain. You need to understand everything about the subclass before you have any right to say something about it. That comes from experience. You've barely played a Titan. You have absolutely no right to complain and your argument is, along with being so biased and obviously false, invalid.
