Best way to take out cannon captain?

Been running it with one bang supers being used on captains and it works like a charm

When I was doing the raid last night, one of my teammates switched to raze-lighter and he was 2 shotting the 380 captains as a 365ish hunter. I noticed Gjallahorn isn't the most effective, at least for phase 2, cause the captains would eat my shots and I wouldn't have any heavy for the boss.
